  1. osaka-san says:

I have to say, if you’re one of those who say “I like sparkly stuff”, you’ve watched Twilight and it has severely damaged your brain for the rest of your life :(

  2. Lianne says:

Um, how about because I really like the technique and the performance skills in Ice Dance?

    • Pede B - Jungleloven ude nu! says:

That would qualify as having no life..

      • Lianne says:

        thppppppt

      • randomnerd says:

Would checking out the female athletes also count as having no life?

        • zomg a ZOMBIE! says:

I’m actually not sure what to classify this comment above me as, but it’s leaning more on the FAIL side of the FAIL-o-meter. If you only watch it because of the female ice dancers, you really DO have no life. So why don’t you go ahead and…
Go to WalMart. Buy a Life. Expect More, Pay Less.

  3. tommy says:

talk about having no life — not only did you watch ice dancing, you made a graph about it!

  4. Lasher says:

    What’s wrong with Biathlon ?

  5. jojo_on_the_radio says:

I agree: Ice Dancing is cool! You’re just jealous you can’t play a sport, all you do all day is make stupid graphs about how much you hate it and wait for a response.

  6. jl5691426 says:

Conclusion you reach when reading GraphJam: Internet users are marginally literate.

  7. Mistletoe says:

It’s missing “How the hell did this become an Olympic sport?!”

    • buck the falls says:

      No, that would be curling.

    • Feisty says:

Ok, Mistletoe, you think it’s so easy? You do it. You’ll be winded and crying over your aching muscles in no time.

      • RJ says:

ok…enough…just because it is difficult does not make it a sport or good or worthy of Olympics. Next Olympic sport: piano balancing!

(responding to old posts is fun)

        • .as.ds. says:

you have got to be kidding. if they are going to get rid of an olympic sport it should definitely be curling. its pretty much just shuffleboard on ice. have you even seen the ridiculous stuff they do in figure skating? you have to be very strong and extremely agile to do that stuff. it takes countless times more skill than most other sports

  8. Snakes says:

Wow. I wish they had Winter Olympics more often. I’m a straight American male, and for me any sport beats baseball by a long shot, including ice skating. Where in the MLB can you find attractive women younger than you that can jump very high and keep excellent balance. That’s more talent than a New York Yankee, that’s for sure. They can poop out dollar bills and that’s about it.

  9. DeeDee says:

    This is fail.

  10. NP says:

I have always hated ice dancing. So cheesy. Lousy music choices. Same went this year. Completely hated every pair that skated, especially the American silver-medal team. They’re both a couple of annoying weirdos. There was, however, one exception. I absolutely adored the gold-medal winning Canadian team (Tessa Virtue and the guy). Found their performance, music, costumes absolutely exquisite, graceful, beautiful, lovely, sublime, etc. As far as I’m concerned, they should have been given gold, silver AND bronze. Go figure.

  11. tincan says:

    This graph fails.

The Canadian gold medal team was very very amazing.

    • lalala says:

      This graph fails.

      Virtue/Moir were total crap.
      Davis/White were amazing.

      • randomnerd says:

Really? Who won gold while inventing a new technique? Oh, I’m sorry, I can’t hear your response over all the epic of Moir and Virtue.

  12. uh huh says:

The conclusion I come to is, “this is figure skating.”

  13. Haristo says:

    Joannie Rochette was Awesome !

  14. VouxCroux says:

So this person would rather watch ice dancing than Biathlon? Idiot. Anything with guns is better than ice dancing. In fact, the only thing worse than ice dancing is Curling.

  15. Timmis says:

ScoTt Moir is Hot!!! and very talented. So is Tessa Virtue. They were amazing!!!

  16. DrSolar says:

What’s wrong with Biathalon? It’s the alpine drive-by.

  17. Snaked says:

Kin Yu-Na can take me out like a Bond Girl anyday.

  18. zozo says:

As far as I am concerned anything ‘sport’ done to music isn’t a sport but an artform. I don’t care if it takes energy and skill, so does ballet.

  19. DeafFish says:

I miss the 90% part of this graph that says:
“I watch it because of those nice ladies in their short dresses and those moves that nearly scream publicly ‘OMG, this is soft-pron!!!’ ”

Well, at least this part would be that big if you only ask the male demographic of the population.

  20. Casa says:

I see shiny things and pause when channel surfing… it’s just weird how often that ends up being ice dancing or the home shopping network.

Both will enduce a light trance if watch for any leangth of time.

  21. Rose says:

No fair! I do Biathlon and it’s amazingly hard!

  22. forge says:

Left off “I like girls in tiny leotards with hypertophied thighs and buttocks.”

  23. luvtheknot says:

Does anyone else shout fall every 2 seconds during the performance or is it just me

  24. nevermore says:

Che. Ice Dancing is awesome. Can you do a one handed lift, while keeping beat? No. I did not think so.

  25. Roger says:

How about…”I Picked it on Streak for the Cash”. I’ve actually watched bowling because I picked the result on there.

  26. nice man says:

I’m not a fan of it, either, but I was extremely happy to see that Virtue and Moir won the gold medal.

  27. wanderyonder says:

Where might “laughing at teenage girls falling on their asses” fit in?

  28. Vittra says:

I’d rather watch biathlon than ice dancing.

  29. Jo-Michelle says:

haha SHINEY… you should add “you have ADD and were just flipping through channels”… thats pretty realistic
