I think you wanted a bar graph for this. Also, you missed a chance to make a “MacGyver” joke here.
Or a MCGRUUUBERRRR!! joke as well.
How many people have actually been locked up in a room by a bad guy anyway? Other than by the parents.
or Adam James
Ehm, the use of a pie chart is really weird.
And indeed, where is the MacGyver reference!?
Ironman FTW!
I’d get out of an entirely empty room. Just like the real MacGyver.
Unless you were going for percents…chances that this graph makes any sense 2.37%
It DOES occassionally happen in real life. One of the real life attempts to escape from Colditz involved building a glider. They’d actually found a book in the prison library which told them how to do it…
Which also stands as one of the few real life occassions which you feel should be covered by the Evil Overlord list.
They never flew the glider. Sad.
It’s still truly awesome that they built it though. And that the library actually had a book on the subject.
Sadder that they ate the cat.
Ending sentence with a preposition fail.
What should they have ended it with?
This is NO time to talk about grammar..
15 seconds MacGruber!!
This is the sort of English up with which I will not put.
Ok, I feel like I have to tell a story.
One time in high school, I was taking a weight training course, and found out the hard way that the bathroom in the weight room doesn’t open from the inside anymore. I didn’t normally use the restroom there, but the controls to the stereo system were in there.
One day, some douche bags decided to be douche bags and invited me to change the music while closing the door on me, effectively locking me inside.
Trapped. And no sign of a handy tool to aide my escape.
Or was there? Yep, you guessed it. The stereo system. Let’s see if I can find some good AM static on the air: success! Let’s see if I can find the volume knob: success! Let’s see how high this stereo goes: loud enough to get the door open within 7 seconds.
Escape successful!
There was a little girl who was kidnapped, some years back, who used a MacGyver trick to escape – when the kidnapper bound her wrists she flexed them so that she had a little bit of wiggle room, and she was able to get unbound and make her escape. Darnit, I can’t find a link… (will keep looking).
That’s okay, we believe you.
Definitely thought of Captain Kirk defeating the Gorn. Except Kirk had a whole planet and piles of powder sitting around.
Macgyver FTW
you forgot room escape games,
and also
adequate graphical representation fail, you should’ve used a bar chart
See this is why I only tangle with really stupid badguys…which makes me wonder how I keep getting captured in the first place
Bar graph. Tiny bar: Real Lilfe; bigger bar: Movies; Gigantic bar off the top of the scale: A-Team.
Yeah, dude, it depends…
Once here in Brazil a kidnapper left his victim in a room which had an axe inside…
The guy just killed the kidnapper and escaped
(Seriously, I’d get you the story, but it wuold be in Portuguese, so there’s no point. Maybe later I’ll translate it)
Has this been a real problem for you?
