  1. deprac says:

When i first sawe, i thought was by location and youtube was far left. Why is it so hateful?

  2. Julia says:

Dude, you are WRONG about the twilight part. People will go INSANE if you mention that you think Twilight is anything less than the most awesome thing in existance. I have watched people get into fistfights over this.

    • kindii says:

go to the site. you should see the crazy stuff that twilight fans have done. its just f-ing nuts.

    • ValiantDefender says:

Twilight is a well written book. The first director SUCKED. The director of the second one did OK but was no where as good as the book.

Willing to bet that 95% of people who don’t like twilight, never read the books.

I did, and I’m a guy, and….I’m not gay. …and…I liked the way stephanie didn’t hold to the TIRED OLD usage of vampires.

For my reference, I bring you TOLKIENN. You fanboys who think ORCS and ELVES you find in DND and such are always the way it was? Well you’d be wrong! Tolkienn took a bunch of mish mash of myths and legends and MADE HIS OWN UP! There were people who thought he was a hack. Just look at how long it was before his books became popular.

      • Kylias says:

You lost all validity after “Twilight is a well written book.”

        • itwasadarkandstormynight says:

Apparently you don’t realize this, but people have different opinions about what is a good book and what is a bad book. Your opinion is not the only “right” one out there.

          • Jay_rock says:

Um… read Of Mice and Men, and realize that that book is WELL WRITTEN. Twilight is an interesting story, but the writing is extremely mediocre.

            • Rachel says:

Well, exactly, a book doesn’t have to be OMGBESTWRITTENBOOKEVAR to be fun to read…..I mean, all the books you read in school? They are all ‘well written’, but I don’t think I ever really enjoyed their stories as much as I did in Twilight…

            • Watwatwut says:

You lost all validity when you say “Twilight is an interesting story”.

        • snonuff says:

agreed. On a lark I tried to read it, but it was horribly written.
It’s meant for those who don’t normally read and would have trouble trying to decipher real books.

      • gow says:

lol u fail bro, twilight is the most horrible piece of literature out there, the myths about vampires were great, like anne rice stuff but twilight is just massive fail, vampires sparkling and wanting to marry people that’s retarded. Btw, Tolkien has only 1 n and don’t even try to compare him that POS.

      • d4m4s74 says:

        I read twilight,

It’s just the sick sexual fantasy of a middle age woman, even the main actors agree

      • Crystallia says:

Excuse me but your statement is very hypocritical.

SMeyer didn’t make vampires up, nobody just decided to make vampires up; the folklore was there before any poorly written novel. Some old town had records of vampire attacks. In my opinion they are not fictional, but that’s just my opinion.

Vampires are monsters; what Meyer did was make them a pathetic, wimpy, pop culture fad.

      • FlamingBurger says:

i would have to say that Twilight is one of the best books of the decade but the movies and screen actors have basically destroying the reputation of the book. Really im saying book= good movie= gay boring cured and pretty much retarded

        • FlamingBurger says:

          sorry, meant crude

        • Walrus says:

One of the best books of the decade? Really? I read the book. I hated it. The characters are two dimensional, Edward is a stalker, and I had to read five hundred pages of “Edward is sooooo beautiful it hurts!” There is nothing, and I mean nothing, of substance in the entire book. I would say that it’s one of the worst books of the decade.

And let me say that I, and my friends, hated it long before the movies came out.

        • wtf_143 says:

you are 12 years old, you haven’t even rest most of the books that came out this decade, how would you even be able to say that it’s one of the best books of the decade

          (btw- hes my little brother)

      • ??? says:

i agree completely i get sooo obsessed w/ it and my teacher asked who were the people who like stephanie meyer and i raised my hands and all the boys were staring at me and were like i hate those books and i growled, none of them had read them

      • Cozakaxo says:

Give it up, twilight is a middle aged woman’s sexual fantasy.

      • Saryn says:

Actually, I’ve read all 4 books. They’re okay books, but not worth a fraction of the attention they receive. I’ve read far better novels by authors who don’t have Meyer’s fame, but should.

      • AC says:

        Seriously?

    • chris says:

I believe that. There’s sure as hell a following of it somewhere… but I don’t know any 12 year old girls or their moms or whatever. And I hate country music with a passion and have heard about 40 seconds of taylor swift in my life but she’s got to be probably the most bearable country singer ever. She at least doesn’t add a bogus nasaly tone to her voice for no reason whatsoever, I don’t get how people can stand that for any amount of time

    • RAWR says:

Julia is absolutely right. If you say that about Twilight, fan girls will beat you with huge rocks.

  3. Akmed says:

I support aborting gay marriages too.

How to get a liberal puke to support the death penalty: tell them it’s a retroactive abortion.

    • Abney says:

Guess what!! I’m a liberal puke so I support abortion and gay marriage… but I support the death penalty AND the right to bear arms. Nice general statement retard.

      • Me says:

There is nothing more dangerous than an armed bear!

        • Tiblet says:

In all the news feeds and cute sites I see in a day, I think you’re the first person to manage to not make gun rights into an argument. Cute statement and I totally don’t want to meet an armed bear!
BTW, I support the 2nd amendment and the death penalty. Gay marriage doesn’t bother me either way and abortion should be for women at risk or babies that won’t survive because of terminal disease. But those are just my opinions.

          • Me says:

I usually don’t get involved in stuff that doesn’t affect me. I don’t have a gun, nor do I do anything that might put me at risk for being shot! Bears are not a problem where I live; gators are. But they usually don’t carry firearms (I guess their arms are too short)!

        • Jay_rock says:

I support the right to arm bears, no matter what you say.

      • wtf_143 says:

the second amendment says and i quote “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” the key word being militia, MI-LI-TIA. for those of you that don’t know, that is basically a fancy word for military. now, this was ratified in 1791 when we had no official form of military, that is the only reason this was passed, because a military is “necessary to the security of a free state”.

guns are a danger to our citizens and the only people who should really have a right to use them are the police and military, in fact, according to your oh so precious second amendment, the only people that DO have the right to use them ARE our soldiers in the military. so dont bring that crap in this house.

oh, and just so you know you conservative troll (this is the internet so i’m gonna keep it clean, although i would like to hit you with a couple of words from the swear jar), the constitution also forbids the death penalty

        • Z says:

sorry but the point of that amendment was not directed at a national military, but rather a local militia to provide protection in the event of internal conflict within the nation. so XP to you. oh and i send money to the local charity for those poor bears without arms.

  4. Martine says:

Srsly… since that Kanye West incident it has done TS nothing but good … freakin pathetic but oh so true

  5. that person says:

twilight sucks, american idol sucks, slipknot is metal \m/ (i love slipknot), i also think that gay marrige and abortion should be legal, taylor swift sucks

    • Aqp says:

Slipknot? Metal? Now that’s a good one. Try Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Amon Amarth, Nile, or even Cannibal Corpse. Slipknot is just a loud, angry Limp Bizkit.

    • gow says:

You are made of epic rightness

    • David says:

True, but he IS right about the rest of what he said.

    • FlamingBurger says:

I think that abortion is one of the most horrible thing you could possibly do. First of all not only are you killing another human being but you are also killing it before it even knows what is going on. I think that abortion is made by the same people who have been trying to take control of america with communist ideas and destructive consciouses

      • WTF says:

You must be an idiot. Abortion is not the most horrible thing you can do. And Abortion wasn’t made people trying to take control of America. Abortion is perfectly fine. If a young woman wouldn’t be able to have the child, go all for it. She shouldn’t have to be judged as ‘evil’ for it. People like you make America full of ignorant assholes.

    • Someone says:

      Oh so true.

    • Mixx says:

      1. I think Twilight is OK… Movie made it suck, tho.
      2. TELL IT!! Gag me with a spoon.
      3. Have no idea what slipknot is..
      4. Totally
      5. I WAY prefer her to Hannah Monvomit.

      • Cozakaxo says:

        1. Twilight would have a place in a book fire
        2. Aye Comrade
        3. I don’t care enough about music to care
        4. Let em’ marry
        5. Both of ‘em need to be burned at the stake

  6. Carr says:

Slipknot may not be metal, and gay marriage should be legal, and twilight is a piece of crap, but taylor swift kicks ass! dont get me wrong, i listen to thrash metal and hardcore punk, but taylor swift is awesome!!

    • :P says:

I don’t hate her, but I can only take so much of her. I hear nearly all her songs every god damn day at school. I’ll admit I’m fond of a few of hers, and her in general. She comes across as super sweet..and I’m a total softie for the nice ones x__x

    • Watwatwut says:

What ass does Taylor Swift kick? The collective asses of anyone with talent that should be getting that sort of attention? I think they’re asses are already sore from everything else in Big Label.

  7. Kukki says:

i had to google taylor swift… are my guts going to be ripped out now too?

  8. tuga2 says:

yo twilight sucks american idol is crap but slipknot is metal im listening 2 it now and i hate the last 2

    • Lilyth says:

No, wrong. Slipknot is not metal. Slipknot is like nursery rhymes compared to Behemoth, Nile, Cannibal Corpse, Gorgoroth.
But I suppose I can see the intellect by the sadly low quality of grammer and correct capital letter placement (wait, there is none…)

  9. NiceMan says:

Nice. Gay marriage should not be legal… neither should abortion..

    • Dani says:

Gay marriage should be legal. It’s not hurting you or anyone else, it’s allowing two people who love each other to be in a government recognized, committed relationship.
Abortion on the other hand is murder and should only be used in cases of incest, rape or for true medical reasons, not just because a girl hasn’t figured out how to properly use birth control.

      • C'est Moi says:

There is a fail rate for birth control. It might not be very high (around 1% for condoms and the pill), but it is still there. It isn’t just because “a girl hasn’t figured out how to properly use birth control.”

And last time I checked, the guy usually has part in the contraceptive department as well.

        • DJ says:

You’re right, it’s also because the new parents are either lazy, afraid, or too self-centered to care about the life they just created. Lots of people don’t want to live with the consequences of their actions and abortion is an easy way out.

          • Abney says:

And who are you to decide that for them?

            • ABC says:

But who are they to choose whether the child lives or dies?

              • trickster says:

They are the potential parents. They know if they are actually parents that are fit enough to care for a child. They know if they can afford a child. They know if they actually want a child. They know if the child will be be born into a happy family, or one rife with abuse, or no father. They know whether having a child will disadvantage it in any way, medically, socially or economically.

And it’s a fetus that is aborted/dies, not a baby, not a child. It has no capabilities of awareness of its self, or the mother.

                • ABC says:

It’s thought that the foetus gains sentience at around 12 weeks and is therefore capable of awareness and people get abortions past that which is pretty horrible, and since when is an economically poor childhood worse than death?
How would you feel if you were aborted?

                  • ABC says:

Hypothetically of course as you wouldn’t be alive.

                    • Selkceb says:

                      I wouldn’t feel a thing.

                      • Watwatwut says:

I think I would have felt a vague nothingness of ambient warmth that I have no comparison to, so its of no consequence. And then there’d be something happening that I’d have absolutely no reference to understand and probably couldn’t even perceive, and then nothing forever.

                        • wtf_143 says:

wow… that’s pretty… whats the word… logical i guess, the smartest reply i have heard here

                  • mabsba says:

“It’s thought” is a great way to say “This is my opinion, but I don’t actually have any way to prove it.” Because there is no evidence of ’sentience’ in 12-week fetuses. If you are referring to the idea that fetuses respond to pain stimuli, remember that amputees can respond to pain in their amputated limbs. This is not proof that they still have those limbs.

                    • ABC says:

                      Meant 22 weeks btw

                      • mabsba says:

Well, that makes a bit more sense. Of course, the reality is that almost no doctors will perform an abortion after that point and even those will only do so because of extreme reasons; e.g., fatal fetal birth defects, saving the mother, incest cases that have been concealed, etc.

                  • Humm. says:

Awareness like a puppy or something? And would anyone really miss something that never came to be? I mean, if I wans’t born for example, no one would care. I wouldn’t care. I wouldn’t exist, I wouldn’t be able to think anything about anything, no one would be able to miss me because I would’ve never been there to be missed. Sorry to bump into your conversations, but I just wanted to say it. Seriously. What is wrong with the abortion of fetuses? It’s probably that annyoing Christian belief stuff that all life is from God and is sacred or something… It really can be better for everyone if some fetuses won’t come to be humans, it can ruin the lives of the mother and father.

                    • gow says:

actually even christians get it wrong according to “god” life doesn’t begin till the fetus is infused with blood, still though im pro-choice

                    • FlamingBurger says:

Sometimes having a baby can be bad because it could be a hell raiser like Hitler BUT ABORTION IS NOT THE ANSWER. instead just teach the baby common values and keep it away from things that could mentally and emotionally scare it for the rest of its life.

                      • mabsba says:

Your post has nothing to do with the many issues facing someone who has an unwanted pregnancy. Its mind-boggling simplistic answer reminds me of Nancy Reagan’s solution to the drug problem. (FYI: that was “Just say no.”)

                      • Humm. says:

I don’t think this one was a real answer to my points…

But in case you thought I meant that it can be better if the baby isn’t born, I would rather say that the baby might have to live in horrible conditions if the parents are still youngsters, and therefore don’t have much money to raise the baby. Besides, as I said, a baby like that would ruin the parents’ life.

                  • CDthe says:

‘It’s thought that the foetus gains sentience at around 12 weeks’

Only by whackjobs. No scientist thinks that. The brain doesn’t even connect up to the rest of the central nervous system until past 20 weeks.

            • Angryfatwhiteguy says:

I’m the guy that had the child with the girl and I have just as much say not to kill the child. How about adoption?

              • mabsba says:

If you don’t approve of abortion, why are you having sex with someone who does? Who made the bad ‘choice’ there?

                • DJ says:

If people think they’re old enough to have sex, they’re old enough to live with the consequences. If the people are too immature or young to care for a baby, put it up for adoption. There are tons of people who want children but can’t have them

                  • mabsba says:

Well, that has nothing to do with Angry’s comment or mine. But in response to your comment (which is how the reply button is supposed to be used), you are saying that a married couple who does not want (for whatever reasons) to have more children therefore can NOT ever have sex as NO form of birth control except absolute abstinence is 100% effective, yes?

                    • DJ says:

If a married couple doesn’t want anymore children, the guy should get a vasectomy. Please don’t try to twist my words

                      • mabsba says:

What if they just can’t afford them right now and want to have one later?

                        • DJ says:

So because a couple can’t afford children at the moment, they should just abort any they do have until they can afford them?

                        • mabsba says:

You didn’t answer my statement. You said that if someone can’t deal with having a child, they shouldn’t have sex. Period. Which implies abstinence unless someone can afford to have a child (financially, emotionally, psychologically).

BTW, if you will look at other comments, you will see that others read your remarks the same way, which means that I am not twisting your words.

                      • mabsba says:

PS That also is not 100% effective, as I said, since we are not supposed to be twisting words: “NO form of birth control except absolute abstinence is 100% effective.”

                        • DJ says:

I was talking about teenagers who are foolish and base a lot of decisions on their hormones. I’m wondering where you’re reading all this stuff that you claim I’m saying, where exactly did I say that if someone can’t deal with having a child that they shouldn’t have sex? The closest thing to that that I’ve said is that if people think they’re old enough to have sex, they’re old enough to live with the consequences

                        • mabsba says:

You did not say anything about teenagers. You said “If people think they’re old enough to have sex, they’re old enough to live with the consequences.” There is no particular age stated there. HOw does this not say if someone can’t deal with having a baby (a possible consequence of sex no matter what form of birth control you use), then they shouldn’t have sex?

Now you may have meant to be talking about teenagers, but no one here is a mind reader, so how would we know that? (Notice that the other person who replied to your post interpreted it exactly the same way I did.)

                        • DJ says:

I thought it was implied, seeing as a lot of abortions happen because of high school or college students who have sex and don’t want the responsibility of having a child.

I still don’t really see how you’re getting that people can’t have sex if they can’t handle having a kid, I’m saying that if someone thinks they’re ready to have sex, they need to be ready for the possible repercussions of their actions. If they can’t handle that responsibility, they aren’t ready to have sex. People are under the illusion that sex outside of marriage is just some carefree act, but it carries a lot of responsibility with it, namely potential pregnancies, STD’s, etc.

What other guy? I only see you and I in this discussion

                        • mabsba says:

See CDthe’s post below in answer to ‘what other guy,’ although I believe that’s a woman.

You are making assumptions about who’s having abortions. Please check your facts, then you will see why your statements need to say whom you’re talking about.

Again, how are you not saying people can’t have sex if they don’t want a kid? You say people must accept the ‘repercussions’ of sex and not have abortions. How does this not mean they will have to have an unwanted child if their birth control fails?

                        • wtf_143 says:

dude, DJ, i have to say this man but, mabsda is totally right, firstly, you need to state what age group you’re talking about, and secondly, like others have said, who are you to decide whether or not someone can have an abortion, i would expect you to comeback with something like who am i to decide whether a child is born or not but still. but even if abortions do become illegal, some people will decide to go through illegal channels which is even more dangerous for the mother, it used to be that they would get someone to stick a wire hanger or something up there, twist it around and just pull the foetus out, this kind of procedure can cause a lot of damage to the uterine wall and/or the vaginal area, which would you prefer

                    • wtf_143 says:

99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% actually, you forgot Mary Magdalen, mother of Jesus Christ

                      • InoxFY says:

yeah, because we have undeniable scientific proof about that, don’t we?

                        • mabsba says:

Um, if you look at the rest of his (?) comments, I think you would see that he’s probably joking here. ;)

not really mabsda, i am a Christian and fully believe that there is a god and that he has the power to impregnate a virgin, but thank you for reading my other posts, they were a bit long-winded and i didn’t think anyone would be able to get through them, btw, go kick DJ’s ass

but to ionxFY, do we have “undeniable” scientific proof of anything, the answer to that is simple enough, no, how can we, i dare you to answer this question, there will eventually be someone smart enough to prove you wrong, i don’t even have undeniable scientific proof that i exist and am sitting on this toybox responding to you with some smartass comment that i probably shouldn’t even be writing, or that i even exist for that matter, this could all be some weirdo’s psychotic imagination and we wouldn’t even know it, so think about that for a while

                        • mabsba says:

Well, I was wondering, but it seemed to me that even if you were a devout Christian and believed this in a religious sense, you probably also were poking fun at the abstinence only group. Which I thought was pretty funny either way. :)

And you are totally correct that no religious belief can be proved or disproved, which is why Inox’s post struck me as slightly rude.

                        • wtf_143 says:

well thank you for your support mabsba, and you’re right, i do love to poke a little fun at those birthers, they think they know what’s best for everybody :)

So if you NEVER want children you should live a sex-free life?

Yeah, me and my husband will get right on that…not.

                    • wtf_143 says:

not disagreeing with you or anything, but if you and your husband don’t want children i suggested either you get your tubes tied, or he gets a vasectomy, the vasectomy is a lot safer though and can be more easily reversed, again, just a suggestion, you don’t have to do it and you don’t have to respond to this

                      PRO-CHOICE

                      • The Pyro says:

                        Um… Condoms? Pill? Coil? Cap?

I haven’t even seen any of these mentioned in the above argument…

                        • mabsba says:

What’s your point? It has been mentioned SEVERAL times that ALL methods of birth control, including sterilization, have failure rates.

WTF was just making a suggestion of the most effective method in reply to someone who said s/he NEVER wanted children.

                        • wtf_143 says:

sterilization doesn’t work? how is that even possible?

                        • mabsba says:

For the boys: the vas deferens can actually regrow. Also, if you do not follow the instructions and wait sufficiently long afterwards, but that, of course, is a failure on the part of the patient (but many birth control failures are due to usage failures).

For the girls: again, the tubes CAN regrow.

These are RARE, but possible. Nature is hard-wired to reproduce, and, man, does it try very, very hard to get around any attempts to thwart it.

There is also the simple possibility of incompetence/error on the doctor’s part.

                        • wtf_143 says:

hmm… well ya learn somethin new every day don’t you, that kinda reminds me of this episode of scrubs where Jordan got pregnant because the guy that did Dr. Cox’s vasectomy screwed up, hehehe

                  • FlamingBurger says:

Yes that is very true. but you are still depriving that child of a mother and father of his/her own blood

              • Jane St.Clair says:

How about you carry the baby for 9 months then.

                • CDthe says:

Oh remember to anti-choicers, pregnancy is totally easy 9 months of pleasure with no strain, no pain, no risk to life or health and birth is totally not ripping your private areas apart.

                • DJ says:

And how about you control yourself and keep your pants on?

                  • mabsba says:

Why can’t the man control HIMSELF and keep HIS pants on? I notice that you did not make this reply to the man who posted. Isn’t it his responsibility as well?

                    • DJ says:

They both need to control themselves, my comment was just in response to the woman’s comment about carrying it for 9 months.

People need to learn to think about their actions and the consequences of those actions before they do those actions.

                      • mabsba says:

Ah, well, again, not what you said. Hence my question.

BTW, you seem to believe that anyone who has an abortion is a careless, irresponsible teenager. The statistics do not bear this out. You can easily find online the number of people who do not fit these categories. Regardless, I must disagree with your attitude that the proper way to deal with even irresponsible teenagers is by forcing them to carry a baby to term.

                  • Humm. says:

Are you actually denying sex from people who do not want a baby?

                • 1234 says:

                  • 1234 says:

That was a reply to someone saying you carry the baby, doesn’t make sense otherwise. Don’t want a child? use a ridiculous amount of contraception, adopt it out or abstain, stop killing innocent life.

                    • wtf_143 says:

Thats one of the smartest things ive heard latley

        • mabsba says:

Really? If you’re referring to the part about abortion, it’s grossly insulting to imply: first, that the ‘girl’ is solely responsible for birth control, and, second, that failure of birth control is due to fault on the part of the user. Certainly sometimes it is, but ALL methods, including sterilization, have failure rates even when used correctly.

i don’t really care whether gays can get married or not, with gays, the problem is not the actual ceremony, it is the rights that come with it, if a gay person’s partner get’s sick, they aren’t allowed to visit them in the hospital with only the rights given to them under a civil union, if a gay person dies, and they adopted or had children, and the children are only under his or her name, then the children go to the family of that person as in mother and father or aunt or uncle or something like that instead of that person’s partner. so if you have a problem with gay marriage, don’t fight against the gays, fight for them, fight for more rights for civil unions (btw, i am also straight)

Taylor’s decent, abortion, gay marriage sure why not, they’re not hurting anyone, Idol is stupid ‘cept the auditions, Twilight is /terrible/ and Slipknot is ‘meh’.

    • yikes says:

I think the dead babies would disagree, re: abortion not hurting anyone… except, they are dead…

      • ABC says:

People should just adopt out the child if they won’t love it, to live at all is better than not getting a choice…

        • doctorrobert says:

are you planning to adopt the millions of aborted fetus’s every year? I loveh ow everyone screams out ADOPTION! but there are no where enough prospective parents out there who want a adopted child. Especially if that baby is colored and poor. those ones might be dirty. or defective…

I’d be fine with banning abortion if there was a new nationwide $1000 per person tax to pay for the care of these children in child services. It is going to easily take $300 Billion to care for these kids over their lifetime.

        • CDthe says:

        • Watwatwut says:

Can I adopt it out of my womb so I don’t have to carry it 9 months and birth it?

      • Humm. says:

They’re. Not. Babies. They’re fetuses. And they don’t disagree. They are not humans. They have no brains capable of thinking. They would be in time, yes. But not when they’re fetuses. And in some cases it really is best for everyone’s sake that the fetus doesn’t grow to be a human.

      • clephtis says:

I think dead babies, or even live babies for that matter, don’t understand what abortion is.

Let’s see, terminate a baby’s life before it is born, or let it be born into a family who can’t financially support it, arn’t mature enough to handle a baby, or any other of the myriad of reasons it would be bad to have a baby. I say save it the misery, the baby has not had a life yet, it will not be missed.

      • wtf_143 says:

i think that if that baby was going to be too weak to live for even a couple of minutes outside of the womb, it would have rather been aborted when it was non-sentient than die a few minutes after it’s first breath

  20. 'ca says:

    I hate Taylor Swift
What the h### is so wrong with gay marriage and abortion people honestly?!?!?
    Haven’t heard Slipknot so….
    American Idol…I agree yeah.
    I HATE TWILIGHT!

  21. jamisings says:

Eh, I hate Taylor Swift too.

  22. buh says:

Gay marriage = legal in Canada. So far civilization hasn’t ended.

    Taylor Swift, however… yeah. Ugh.

  23. Super Maggot says:

Slipknot is ABSOLUTELY metal. the best too.

  24. AJ says:

I could understand hating her music, but saying you hate _her_ is quite different. So unless she shot your parents or something, I don’t see what justification you have in saying that.

    [/semantic rant]

  25. Dan says:

It’s one thing to say you don’t like her music, but why would you say you actually HATE Taylor Swift? Do you actually have some personal vendetta against her? I don’t like Miley Cyrus’s music, but I don’t actually hate Miley Cyrus.

  26. KP says:

It’s cool, chief. I hate taylor swift and twilight, too.

  27. R R R says:

Oh get your head out of your arse. Taylor Swift is fantastic, you however are a jerk.

    • Stormy says:

Taylor Swift’s recorded music can indeed be charming. Any music major could tell you, though, that her live performances would benefit from a few semesters of ear training.

  28. Pants_Mcgee says:

You’d think that with her rich stock broker daddy he’d be able to get her a breathing coach. I mean no doubt he pulled strings to get her a start, and probably pulled strings to craft her ‘public’ private life.

  29. Bob says:

How about this one: in a few years, twilight will be a respected clasic in the same catagory as harry potter and all other contemparary bestsellers.

    • Pablo says:

hmmmmm, I dunno. I don’t think it has the ongoing charm and continuing appeal that Harry Potter does. They’ll no doubt try to market it as an instant classic though.

    • mabsba says:

Isn’t one of the requirements of being considered a classic that people try to ban and/or burn the book? :)

  30. Kloxxington says:

While I do respect your opinion and all.
You are wrong with the Slipknot is not metal thing.
While you might not like them. That does not change that fact that they are a metal band.

  31. RJ says:

    I like chocolate.

  32. Fett says:

Anybody denouncing Slipknot as metal ever been to their concerts? Garaunteed you’ll change your mind after that; unless you’re still blinded by the fake blood that GWAR threw on you in the last decade when they were almost good.

  33. chakrapoint says:

This made my day. I think you may be me. Or I may be you. Either way, we think dangerously alike.

  34. Selkceb says:

I was listening the Slipknot’s “Get This” (link: NSFW) and lol’d. ;)
I totally agree with the other four.

  35. snakes says:

The thing is though, Taylor isn’t corrupt, and the only actual reason people hate her is because she’s succesful. That’s like people hating Superman just because he’s a superhero.

    • mabsba says:

I don’t think it’s quite like that. People who really hate her music hate that she’s successful because it makes her music more prevalent. But I don’t see why anyone would hate HER personally. I could understand that if her music was offensive (racist or something) as that would reflect something bad about her, but it’s not. I don’t like it, but I have no feelings about her as a person.

    • wtf_143 says:

i would have gone with spider-man personally, every loves superman, but there are a lot of people in the comics that don’t like spider-man

    • Watwatwut says:

Well, seeing as I wouldn’t hear her terrible music if she weren’t successful, I have to agree. I wouldn’t give a damn about her otherwise.

  36. thestashattacked says:

Now look what you’ve done! There’s moderately intelligent discussions going on here! Psha! What kind of sadist are you?

  37. tokokono says:

I’m LOVE SlipKnot, but I don’t think they’re metal. Quite frankly, I’m not sure what the hell they are.

  38. CDthe says:

I have no idea who Taylor Swift is.

Gay marriage? My cousin is married to his husband, anyone who has a problem with that is a git.
Abortion? I had one, it was no big deal. I don’t see why anyone should tell me it is.

  40. nerdly_dood says:

I agree, mostly: Twilight IS a piece of crap. American Idol IS crap. Slipknot is NOT metal. But I have no opinion on gay rights or abortion, because it’s not my problem, and I dont know who Taylor Swift is, and since she’s yet another famous person without a reason to be famous (if she did i’d know who she is), i don’t want to know either.

  48. wtf_143 says:

totally ironic, i just saw an add for PRO-LIFE checks, weird how things work out isn’t it

    • mabsba says:

Um, that’s not exactly psychic interference there. The system picks up words from the lol to help it select ads. Or were you joking?

PS If you use Firefox with Adblock, you can get rid of a lot of the ads. I simply had to do that on PK when Sarah Palin’s face was EVERYWHERE because of her book release. :)

    Yay.

  51. tay swift fan says:

do you really hate taylor swift or did you just use it as an example?

  52. Me says:

I agree – Slipknot is NOT metal! I don’t know how they made it on Headbanger’s Journey.

    Satan.

  53. Emma says:

I can understand if you hate her music and if she was a bad role model, but how could you actually hate *her*?

  54. Someone says:

I have no idea who Taylor Swift is, but I heartily agree with the rest of the bar chart \m/

  55. remmus says:

a life is not a person itself but how that persons lives, is it really a life to live if it is spent knowing you drag your parents into debt and poverty? Is it really a life knowing you exist solely because a invisible boggy man in the sky says your special? Is it really a life worth living if it grows up abused, spit on and ends as a drug addict on the street?

Remember your not killing a life, because that person never lived, give the option to let people live there lives so they can pass on that life when it is good and kind and not because others say so, whether it be parents, friends or the invisible man in the sky.

  56. theresnothingbut9 says:

Twilight: sucks balls. American Idol: eh. Slipknot: any maggot (such as myself) will disagree and want to kick ur ass. They ARE metal, and whoever said angry lip bizkit? u do know they’re rivals, right? listen to slipknot’s 1st and 2nd album for real metal, yeah, 3rd and 4th aren’t exactly “metal” but whatev. Gay marriage and Abbortion: yeah, i support them. Taylor swift is horrible: AMEN

  57. Samuel says:

And Slipknot is not Metal how? Lol.
