How much we care about some teen’s hair = WAAAAAY over to the right, below the graph.
Obviously you do care, otherwise you wouldn’t be commenting about it.
Commenting takes a grand total of five seconds. Considering a topic for 5 seconds =/= caring about that topic. Logic fail.
Anyway, surely you’d rather have nice hair when out and about than at school?
… well of course! because the more you care the more you think its bad.

Oh come on, he’s probably 12 and being “cool” is the most important thing in the universe. Certainly he’s not a college student where sleeping in is more important than vanity.
Those of us that have hit puberty know the only time your hair is truly terrible is right before a hot date.
Even then most of us care less.
I started off this way in college. Guess I was “mature” for my age.
There were always still a select few who still dressed up for class… never got that. Maybe they’ll stop caring in grad school?
Worry less about the hair and more about your character. It will pay off more.
Blah blah blah inner beauty. My character is just fine, thank you. Am I still allowed to care about my physical appearance, or should I just stop shaving my legs and armpits?
Maybe I could go the economical hair route and either shave my head altogether or invest in some bitchin dreadlocks. Perhaps my employer wouldn’t fire me…
No. You know what? I live in a world where people have eyes, and I’m going to use that to my advantage.
And those men you are trying to impress with those shaved armpits, how often do they shave theirs?
Frankly, people who care that much about your image aren’t worth impressing.
I would rather use my talents to my advantage.
I don’t see why a person can’t be beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. I call it honesty in advertising.
I don’t do it to attract potential mates, I do it because I like to maintain a level of grooming befitting a professional adult.
Frankly, I find relationships disgusting, and do not wish to ever be a part of one.
To answer your question, though, my sisters both married men who shave their armpits.
this graph is really true. and there’s nothing wrong with caring about your appearance. everyone does it. in highschool.
