The Art of Comedy
Telling a good joke well is no easy task. And even if you can manage to nail down the perfect comedic content and timing, the chances that your audience has already heard the joke are pretty high. Due to all of the joke-telling variables (and redundancies), it’s no wonder that graphs about jokes are so popular around these parts. Have a look at a few examples below.

CoffeShopFrank, are you a “mudgeon?
wonderful take on the Fat Cat Strip of Boredom.
I srsly LOLed when i saw the garfield graph
Your mom.
That’s what she said!
iluv2lolz left out the smaller circle inside the dirty jokes area which should be labelled “That’s what she said.”
that’s what she said.
You forgot the new innovative “That’s what your mom said” jokes…combining the best of both worlds…
The middle one fails. It means that you said dirty jokes and people think u said dirty jokes.
that’s what she said
“that’s what she said” phrases aren’t jokes they are just demeaning.
that is what she said
You had that one coming, you really did…
The Garfield graph left out the recurring “Put Nermal in a box and mail him to Abu Dhabi” gag.
And…”WE’RE BACHELORS, BABY!”.
There’s more new jokes on the garfield one than i would expect since the entire graph is only about RECURRING JOKES
The Garfield graph forgot ‘hitting a spider with a rolled up newspaper’.
I apologize for not mentioning some of the other Garfield jokes. At the time of making the chart, I was just thinking about how hilarious it was when Garfield ate all of the lasagna. Besides, how often does Garfield hit the spider or do something to Nermal compared to the other jokes in the comic?
I didn’t see anything wrong with that. Mind, I don’t read a lot of Garfield either… :S
Well, I would say, tell bad about Jim Davis’ Garfield when YOU can write such jokes without being boring when you read them like the 6th times.
Indeed. Complaining about unoriginal jokes by duplicating a joke format that’s been on this site 1000 times is the height of irony.
The “jokes” in “your mom” jokes should be in its own set of quotation marks.
Wait, Garfield is supposed to be funny?
Yes, Garfield is supposed to be funny. It’s hard to be funny over 30 years day after day, so don’t f*ck on Jim Davis. Garfield is funny, face it or go back to cry.
Aw, I like Jon from Garfield. I’m so happy that’s he’s finally got Liz.
Jon. JON. No “H” is involved here. JON!
jesus, does it matter?
That’s a big peice (That what she said
)
All the graphs are true, but what about insults?
That blue slice on graph 3 is waaaaay too small, at least in my case.
Your mom ripped it off from my comedian friend. At least, that’s what she said…
