  1. Ghost says:

    4Chan deserves a much larger piece…

    • Dr. Steve Brule says:

Exactly what I was thinking. Those people are industrial strength, Andy Kaufmann-style weird.

      • Jay_Rock says:

Yes, 4chan deserves about 90% and Japan shouldn’t be up there. Everything “Wierd” about japan was just from America stealing Japan’s culture and adding its own stuff.
By the way, I am not Japanese but I love Japan. Just to clarify.

        • Jake says:

Who doesn’t love Japan? They’re the most advanced nation on the planet, regardless of their size.

I plan on learning that language when I get a little older.. it bites my @$$ when I see a Japanese show because they actually care about the script.

But now that I think about it, Sushi is a bit on the eccentric side..

    • Ang says:

Yes… but the funny thing is… isn’t 4Chan inspired from Japan or something?

    • kg333 says:

Agreed. Probably matches Japan, solely on the basis that 4Chan weirdness has a habit of going semi-mainstream on a regular basis (at least more often than Japan, anyway).

  2. ThaDoggfather says:

The Internet is bigger then the 4chan part while AT LEAST half of the internet’s bullcrap comes from there <_<

  3. Kukki says:

japan is weird in an awesome way, though!

  4. humor me says:

Where is the one for “Your Kids”?

  5. Mike says:

4chan section is way too small, haha =)

  6. ethana2 says:

Wasilla? Clearly you’ve never been to Girdwood, Tok, or Fairbanks.

  7. Ghostwish says:

4channers – you are not as grand as you think. Japan owns you. And leases your soul.

  8. lolz says:

    what is 4chan?

  9. Awesome Canadian, Eh? says:

    You forgot “India”

  10. Spock says:

    Racist but true

  11. Girlysprite says:

And don’t forget that part of the weird things that 4Chan launches finds its roots in Japan. 4Chan might launch more things that get known in the western internet community, but once you delve into weird Japanese pop culture….just…wow…

    • Orzo says:

Forget Japanese *pop* culture. Get into the subcultures, and there you find genuine weird. Every country has its messed-up people, but Japan pretends they aren’t there…

  12. Zonis says:

    >implying 4chan isn’t the internet

  13. =p says:

Dude… Wasilla, AK? That’s where my fiance is from. XD And yes, he is weird.

  14. Platy says:

Hey! I’m from Wasilla and I resemble that remark!! :P

  15. angrycat says:

Swap 4chan and Japan and we’re golden.

  16. Kristyn says:

My mom is weirder than that. Her slice should be bigger.

  17. AceDevil says:

I wonder if the person that did the graph even went to Japan.

  18. Megalodon says:

    This does not explain Bjork!

  19. anon says:

1 example of why 4chan and japan need to be switched = lolcats

  20. Vengeful Cyberspace says:

The Wasilla part needs to go, badly. Palin is actually very smart and is not representative of an entire town. Also, Juneau has more weirdness.

  21. KurisuHAXurei says:

WJTs (Weird Japanese Things). That’s all I have to say. Namco Bandai Games has a couple of shining examples in Muscle March (A bunch of guys (and a girl) with ludicrous amounts of muscle (And a polar bear, as well) chasing a rogue’s gallery of protein powder thieves (ranging from an American Football runningback to Oda Nobunaga) through walls (which are to be passed ‘Human Tetris’ style (as in, flex those muscles the right way to fit through the hole in the wall that the guy you’re chasing just made.))) And the Katamari series. (Roll up anything and everything into a ball to put the stars back in the sky.) However, those don’t even scratch the surface of what comes from Japan.

  22. joshchristian says:

    thats only /b/

  23. Jake says:

Well, I agree, I see why they put Japan on there. After the Hiroshima bombing, Japan swore off war forever.

See, there aren’t enough places in the world like that.

But, I’ll admit, not ever having war again is a bit.. odd.

  24. Anon says:

WOW. Way to braek rules 1 and 2.

  25. Meem says:

I know that the Pie Chart needs to be bigger on the ” Your Mom” section. I’m a Mom!

  26. Hakencat says:

    4chan deserves HEUJ piece

though most of my wierdness was from japan(and equally, Germany), others get it from 4chan

  27. Emi says:

Yeah, the 4chan one needs a WAYYYY bigger spot.

  28. maria says:

The 4chan part should be a bit larger. And why is there no Germany-part? Or no USA-part?

  29. Lol k noob. says:

Interwebz shouldn’t be there. 4chan IS the interwebz
