I usually find the bar would drop right down on the day of the exam.
The bar would have dropped on the day of the exam, but the day of the exam is not on the graph. It goes from “day before exam” to “day after exam”.
FAIL, graphs, the exam, and life.
More accurately, the bar should drop at a juncture called “Right after the exam”. “On the day of the exam” could mean that we/they lose knowledge, before, or even during the exam. Most people’s experience is that they come out of the exam and forget things fairly fast.
I was half way back to my car after my final trig exam and could not remember what was on the exam or in the course. It’s been 10 years and I still have no memory of the course content or exam but I passed it.
Yeah, I remember walking out of an important History exam and then being unable to tell people which 3 essays I’d spent the last 3 hours writing. I think I managed to recall that one had been about Henry VIII, but I couldn’t have told you the wording of the question.
Person notices

Don’t worry. trt’s just a stupid troll who does this to everyone. We want to hear your lifestory.
Question: Why is the OP’s exam two weeks after the end of the term?
Some colleges (mine included) give a week or so study time at the end of the semester before exams. The term is technically ‘over’ with regards to having classes, but you still have to go to exams before you can gtf off campus.
Right, dead week. We have that at my uni too, but not two full weeks. That’s just excessive.
Doesn’t apply to me. Thank grade-skipping math level.
congratz!
Most instructors don’t know how the brain learns, and students don’t want to make the commitment. When a student makes a consistent, daily effort in the 1st 21 days, then understanding & recall grow exponentially after the memorable dream experience.
