My best friend always asks me what I want for birthdays and Christmas. Its her homemade cookies! She’s been sending them to me for 30 years and they are still the best thing to find in the mailbox

Thanks for an encouraging post on writing, even if what I’m writing isn’t what I love. In my day job, I sometimes do technical writing and it is sooo boring. The readers don’t read it because they ‘want’ to, but because they ‘have’ to. At least I can make it as easy to read as possible, and care enough to reflect my best attempt.
