First.
Great job, Einstein.
For the first time the troll bashing is appropriate to the post.
This is one of stand-up comedian Brian Regan’s jokes
Rather appropriate when you consider that Einstein was a total klutz (he had a learning disability).
Einstein did not have a learning disability, that is a common misconception. He also did not fail Math, ever. He did, however, have problems learning French.
Which is not really a problem, cause you know, nobody likes the french
A lot more than the Swedes.
no french suck always trying to seperate( if you lived in canada you’d get that)
No, the Swedes are worse. (If you lived in Finland you’d get that.)
With Finland being a country formerly ruled by Sweden, they came here and as the rulers they were snobs, and then centuries later their descendants are still bitchy with their “fancy” language. (No kidding, it’s the worst in the world, sounds like total *beep* and it’s just horrible) And since there are just enough of them (though they are a great minority) Swedish is forced to be taught at Finnish schools. You just listen to the Swedes talk. Annoying as hell. I wish they’d try to separate from Finland, everyone would love it.
Oh, wait, they have their own country. So the question is… What the hell are they still doing in Finland? They have technically robbed an island from Finland, since it’s a part of Finland, but no one really speaks Finnish in there and therefore it has had to be given autonomy. It’s Finland. They should speak Finnish.
So: You just gotta hate them Swedes.
Oh, and by the way, all Swedes are gay. That’s a know fact for all Finns.
Because gay means bad now? It’s in the dictionary? Homsexual means something isn’t right, apparently?
No, gay doesn’t mean something would be wrong or anything like that, though it can be used like that. Now I meant that all Swedish guys like buttsex. I’m sorry for all the gay people who got insulted by being equalized with Swedes.
Well, at least they’re no longer trying to *separate.*
SPELLING FAIL.
Not a learning disability no, but he certainly had a very different thought process than the average person.
Of course, there’s a couple of real life brothers that fit in here…
Albert Brooks and Super Dave Osborne
Birth names, Albert Einstein and Robert Einstein – even their showbiz parents used stage names, but retained the real family name offstage. Unsure if they were related to the scientist, but it’s a fair bet Al was named for him.
Just the idea that Super Dave was literally an Einstein, boggles the mind.
Baby developmental video series: Baby Einstein.
Also a preschool show on Playhouse Disney: Little Einsteins.
Actually, in my media literacy class in college we had to look at a developing experiment that was trying to prove the effectiveness of the Baby Einstein videos. The preliminary results were (in 2007, at the beginning of the experiment) showing that Baby Einstein videos actually decrease speech, problem solving, and social interaction skills in infants who watched the series for 30 min-1 hour every day.
I personally think that defeats the purpose of using the name “Einstein.”
This is why the makers of Baby Einstein are issuing refunds to all that purchased the sham of a learning kit in order to avoid heavy fines from the government for false advertising, fraud, etc.
My kids, who are 2 and 3, love Baby Einstein. I don’t show it to them for their purported “developmental” qualities, but because they love the music, colors, and random crap, and it shuts them up for 30 minutes.
They didn’t watch them as babies though, only recently when my husband accidentally bought a DVD instead of LITTLE Einsteins (which they love).
Yeah, except your kids are at the age the APA considers “acceptable” for television watching – 2 and up.
There should definitely be a section for “Bagels”
Einstein Bagels are a sham and should never be included in any of these graphs for fear that someone will actually patronize those establishments.
The graphmaker forgot a category – Back to the Future!!!
Dude, DAMN NEAR NO ONE under 25 will get that.
Also they forgot they forgot the Corgi from Cowboy Bebop! There should be a sliver of that pie for “Dogs’ names.”
I’m PRETTY SURE more people are going to recognize the “dogs’ names” wedge from a classic 80′s film rather than an anime.
Don’t forget Star Fox 64. “Hey Einstein, I’m on your side!”
Aw crap, I was gonna say that!
I can see you don’t study physics. Seriously, it’s Einstein this, Einstein that, it’s as if he invented physics or something.
Glad I’m not the only one who has to listend to physics chatter at the dinner table… as a result I don’t think I’ve ever called some one Enstein to be scarcastic.
I have heard people called ‘genius’ sarcastically.
Correct. Newton was first. (Aristotle got many things horribly incorrect, such as the effect of mass on gravitational acceleration.)
Einstein published papers on relativity (both special and general)–he was the first person to disagree with Newton and be correct about it. Then people started to observe particles, which led to increasingly bizarre observations.
My fav bar!!! Einsteins
Albert Einstein had a very big role in physics, it shows that einstein is a very powerful and smart. if someone using his name to say that the person is an idiot, so that people are very wrong
Yeah, it’s rather sad how true this is. RIP forever to Albert Onestone.
My dog’s name!
