All sports are better when there’s a keg around. Not to mention the ladeez.
Toolish reply.
Would you care to explain why?
At least he didn’t say “first”.
Maybe because I said I like to have ladies there? Who knows?
Yeah – well I haven’t had a frontal lobotomy just yet. Not sure what the reasoning behind acting like you aren’t even smart enough to dress yourself in the morning is all about.
I still don’t think what I posted is “toolish” if that is even a word, and I am still waiting for the young lady to explain why she said so.
Perhaps she just needed someone to vent some nonspecific anger against men and she happened to see my comment? Rather toolish in and of itself imho.
I think that perhaps your comment was misinterpreted, as it is a little ambiguous. Are the games improved by the presence of “the ladeez”, or are said ladies improved by the keg? If the former, coolio, if the latter, meh. I had assumed the former myself
Aha. Well no I didn’t mean that at all. All I meant is a Sunday afternoon or a summer’s evening of a sports with some beer and ladies watching or even better participating, and I am having fun.
Didn’t mean I need beer to enjoy “the laydeez” oh my goodness no.
This chart also applies perfectly for Ultimate Frisbee… (just change middle school to university)
Nice job labeling the x and y axes. What I want to know is why “better than sex” is on there, when nothing even reaches it. Pretty superfluous unless you’re trying to make a point, which it doesn’t seem like it.
*Tweeeeeeeet!*
OK, pedantry penalty. Into the “creep” box with you.
That should be changed to elementary school. Recess completely vanished when middle school hit for me
This. If we were very lucky, we would be allowed to eat lunch outside.
Same here.
Yup, totally agree. I lost recess once I went to middle school.
Just goes to show that nothing is better than sex.
LOL. Response win.
Lame graph.
Comment fail
Don’t understand how that was a fail. Usage of fail fail.
The creeps are everywhere. Even an informal, slow pitch softball league at work had a couple. People were like, “Dude, we’re engineers, business people and secretaries in our 40s. Sorry we can’t play like a college baseball star.”
So I tried poker, and the “creep” manifests there as the guy who has watched too much Billion Dollar Celebrity Poker BLOWOUT on TV, and they go “all in” every other hand.
Kickball is very fun when Middle School!
what’s the point in playing if you aren’t going to play seriously?
having actual fun?
it’s not fun if you aren’t focusing on the game…
lol… I sorta agree with this… When I play, I play hard. I guess other ppl don’t find that fun…. probably b/c they suck. meh..
Since when do middle schools have recess?? -.-
I know.
You forgot when someone kicks the ball on top of a roof.
Keg party isn’t a measure of quality. It’s almost the same as “drinking while playing”. So that’s no good.
And as a non-alcholic, “keg party” would rank below “sucks” in my case.
I’m glad nothing on this graph reached better than sex….unless sex for someone is like playing kickball then you’re doing it wrong.
Hmmm…too true no matter what group social activity. As when we organised through the work social club a 10 Pin Bowling Team. A few drinks..a lot of gutter balls, some laughs; then…HE arrives…with his own ball and shoes..the little cloth to polish the ball…the fingerless leather gloves..the mincing bowl style…and zero tolerance & attitude to anyone who didn’t get at least 9 down in one…
No kidding! Sports should be about having fun and bonding, not about one-up-manship.
When my kids were in 4-H, we actually went to another county because it had a reputation for being “fun” and less competitive. That’s not to say that my kids didn’t do their best, but they had a lot more fun doing it. They weren’t yelled at, they had laughs, and they made a lot of friends. The county where we lived also did well, but you could tell the kids were a lot more stressed. I don’t regret the decision and neither do my kids. One of them has gone on to train in her horse and dog classes and I’m very happy that she learned to “like” competition.
There needs to be another category, score all the way up at the top, that says, “You Live in Indiana”. I still can’t believe people take this game so seriously. It’s an organized intermural sport!
so true
