It’s the End of the World

Recently, people have been talking about two things: the end of the world and John Cusack. So here are some LOLz about John Cusack. Just kidding. But it makes you wonder — how will the world really go? Natural disasters, global warming, or Kim Jong Il?

  1. room says:

    FAIL on the First graph.
Most people know 2012 is just a another doomsday theory.
And by the time we reach 2012, the doomsday will be somewhere around 2020′s

  2. chair says:

    wamring FAIL

    • Jessica says:

No, no. I’m *very* concerned about Global Wamring. I mean, really.
I’m certain I want no part in any wamring, especially a global one. :P

  3. Chris says:

The 2012 theory was thought up by the Mayans. They had a different calender to us. Their 2012 ended hundreds of years ago

    • forge says:

No, their 2012 was our 2012, but if their civilization was still extant, which it isn’t, when 2012 got here they’d do exactly what we do when the calendar runs out – PUT UP A NEW ONE. Durr.

  4. gniknihtdrawkcab says:

This looks a lot like the graph from 1999 about Y2K.

    • TheObject says:

Good eye, better submit them to TLL. or the new 2012 movie against Shwartzeneger’s End of Days or the campy tv show Millenium.

  5. --E says:

On behalf of the Northern Hemisphere, I would like to apologize to the Southern Hemisphere for the middle graph. Please invert as needed for your local climate.

  6. boaks says:

…who changed their opinion on how dire global warming is based on the season? Most people I know are vehemently convinced either it’s a huge deal or it’s a huge hoax, but never have I met someone who thinks because it’s hot out in August, we should worry about global warming, but not when it’s chilly in January.

  7. Aaaaargh says:

That second and third one and really good :P but the first one only applies to one out of a million people. For the rest of the people it should be constant at “nothing will happen”.

    • Starlinguk says:

For the rest of the people it should say “Global Warming? But it’s cold, innit? I’m going to drive to the corner shop in my SUV nao. KTHXBAI.”

  8. marxz says:

    Re graph 2:
to steal (then paraphrase) a line from slashdot

“I live in the southern hemisphere you insensitive northern hemisphere bastards!”

  9. Miss Coulter says:

The middle graph has perfect colors because it is pretty gay.

  10. Onion says:

@2012, in 2013 there will be no one to do the fearing!

  11. Ben says:

    The movie sucks btw…

  12. pheslaki says:

I’m worried about global warming, but not global wamring.

  13. forge says:

Middle graph: HURR DURR IT’S COLD SO GLOBAL WARMING’S A MYTH DURR HURR

  14. aaron m says:

Proof that 2012 will NEVER happen! The “a.d” in 2012a.d. stands for Anno Domini. That means time started at the birth of christ. Yet, the Mayans made the calender hundreds if not thousands of years before anyone ever head of christianity, how could they have predicted the birth of christ? Their 2012 would have been a different date for the Mayans than the date we know, and it has technically already happened… Can anyone prove me wrong?

    • matthew says:

I am pretty sure it is not literally ‘year 2012′ in the mayan calendar, but the equvalent in our modern year counting system. I think in the mayan calendar it is something like year 5000 or so.
also for the second graph, if you live in NZ, just shuffle them, with marginally hotter in january :-)

  15. aaron m says:

After 2013, everyone will finally realize they made a big deal about some idiot who had a loud mouth… we just have to wait for someone else who comes up with another apocalyptic ending like Apophus (I might’ve misspelled it) so I’m just gonna keep my mouth shut about that one and eat some icecream.

  16. Cowlifornia says:

meh, pretending to fix global warming is killing our economy :( YARS MORE TAXEZ FOR THE CARBON CREDITZZZZZ!!!! hehe, though i do love listening to people bash the ‘climate change’ nuts.

  17. SonicGTR says:

Only the middle of the second graph applies to SoCal.

The only seasons we seem to ever have anymore is Spring, Summer, Fire season, and Mudslide season.

  18. Horsey says:

Spelling fail on the third graph….

  19. Vermin says:

24 August 2012 at 16:05 PM we’re all goinna die!
NOES!!!! Now I can’t watch my favorite television show anymore!!!!!

  20. Grammar Nazi says:

    spelled psychotherapy wrong

  21. somerandomperson says:

    squirrels are cool

  22. Who, Me?? says:

wanna know something funny? 12/21/2012 is my 13th birthday. XD

  23. Stupid says:

Does anyone else hate the 2nd graph simply because of the creator’s name “evanescencefan91″?
