  2. Steen says:

  3. Criminal Magic says:

    Lenny Bruce is not afraid.

  4. King D says:

I’m pretty sure there was a chart almost exactly like this one before.

  5. Dukie says:

That’s great it starts with an earthquake,
    Birds and snakes, an aeroplane,
    Lenny Bruce is not afraid.

  6. MK1K says:

    AND I FEEL FINE

  7. NP says:

“Smith and Wesson coming in a hurry with the bureaies breathing down your neck”?

    • Nogitron says:

Lester was a comin’ in a hurry with the furies breathin’ down, your, neck …

      • EHW2 says:

RUN, CHICKEN LITTLE, RUN! THE SONG CLEARLY SAYS IT’S THE END OF THE WORLD! OMFG!!!
OH WHAT THE HECK, GET MICHAEL FORD IN THAT MOVIE AND IT’S ALIEN PROBLEM SOLVED!

  8. NP says:

“symbiotic patriot slam fight right right feeling pretty psyched”?

  9. NP says:

“I am a hurricane. Listen to yourself churn. World serves its own needs. Tommy serve your own needs. Speed it up a notch. Speed, grunt, nose, stream”?

    • Snow says:

“I am a hurricane,” seriously? I had always thought it was “Eye of the hurricane.”

Then again, I remember telling someone for years that I was humiliated that as a child I thought the Michael Jackson lyrics in “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’” were “You’re a vegetable, you’re a vegetable.”

…whence I found out that really is what they lyric is.

  10. NP says:

Really, should have also had a tiny sliver for “Leonard Bernstein” and a slightly bigger sliver for “and I feel fine”.

  11. Dangle says:

It’s time I had some time alone.

  12. Schetch says:

You forgot yelling out “Leonard Bernstein!”

Or did someone else already mention that?

  13. Cougar Whacker says:

I actually know most of the song

  14. Onion says:

    Stop mocking me!

  15. krodor says:

anyone actually notice that THIS IS ABOUT A SONG FOR ONCE!!!!

  16. teenie says:

    mountains sit in a line…

  17. Lemon Curry says:

    Six o’clock, TV hour,
don’t get caught in foreign towers
    slash and burn, return,
    listen to yourself churn,
lock it in, uniform, book burning, blood-letting
    every motive escalate, automotive incinerate,
light a candle, light a votive, step down step down,
watch it heel crush crush, uh oh, this means
no fear, cavalier, renegade steering clear
a tournament, a tournament, a tournament of lies
offer me solutions, offer me alternatives, and I decline

    midoinitrite?

  18. vervain says:

I actually DO know all the lyrics to “It’s the End of the World as We Know It (and I Feel Fine)” as well as the lyrics to “What’s the Frequency, Kenneth?” (also by REM) “We Didn’t Start the Fire” (Billy Joel) and “Hook” (Blues Traveller.)

    Why? Because I’m a huge dork. ;)

    • Can You Stand On Your Head says:

I can top that, because I know those and the lyrics to “Can’t Stop” by Red Hot Chili Peppers, American Pie (Or something to that effect) by Don McLean (And the Weird Al parody, but that’s a whole other thing), “I’ve Been Everywhere Man” (Johnny Cash version), and “Your Evil Shadow Has a Cup of Tea” by Lemon Demon (Not hard to learn, but singing it’s kinda weird, plus I felt like including it simply based on title)

      • Dukie says:

Can’t Stop is my favorite song! I know every word. I also know all the words to Give It Away and Around the World (both by the Chili Peppers, and rather fast paced songs with hard to understand words.)

  19. Lester Bangs says:

I know all the lyrics, I’m the only one out of my friends that can sing along to it!

  20. Timber says:

I’m proud to have this song memorized. It’s great at parties. ;D

  21. names are for whores says:

I tried to learn this one once, after learning “One Week” by Barenaked Ladies, but didn’t get very far with it. I can get through the first few lines, I know there’s something about jellybeans and obviously LEONARD BERNSTEIN.

  22. Rachel Joy says:

    That song’s by R.E.M.?!?!

  23. Snow says:

If this pie chart applied to me, there’d be about a 10% slice dedicated to “LEO-NARD BERN-STEIN!”

  24. Chass says:

My fave part is “Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, BOOM!”

  25. Ali says:

    And I feel fine.

  26. Fanny says:

Exactly my thought XD I find REM too slow with this song^^ GBS ftw!
