  1. Father Bart says:

If they would only turn to God, the world would be a much better place.

  2. Mr. Frykas says:

Yes, and they all hang out on the hunting forum.
    Example:
“OMG LIEK IM GONNA TOTALLY SHOT A BEAR WID A .22!!!!!1!!!”
“where can i get apples for free?”
“Where is the purple hunt locations?” (for Blackberry Storm)

  3. Aaaaargh says:

Truth is that help on internet can be perfect for some problems, as it feels more anonymous. However, asking for help on Yahoo answers will probably make you feel very insecure :P

  4. lulz says:

I feel like Yahoo and AskJeeves paid you to come advertise here. Otherwise, it is apparent to all that Google should take up the majority of that graph.

    • Z says:

Well, the thing is that Google is the biggest, but it isn’t a destination site… it is a search site. Ask is too, actually. Most people end up at Wikipedia, WikiAnswers, Yahoo Answers, WikiHow, or some other destination site… *after* going through the search.

    • Cedar Wood says:

Ask Jeeves-ffffffff, what is this, 1998?

  5. train says:

cause 3/4s of the time everything but the internet takes more time and is bitchy

  6. serenagold says:

I love it. Who the hell uses Yahoo search or Ask Jeeves anymore? Internet – Yes. Examples of Internet – Fail.

  7. Casa says:

If Google can’t tell me what it is I don’t realy want to know!

  8. giskard says:

Ask Jeeves? When did it suddenly be come 1996 again?

  9. pheslaki says:

Damn kids. GIT OFF MAH LAWN!!!!!!!!

  10. grav3nimag3 says:

Grandma needs to get back in the LOLs and stop trying to write them…

  11. Jes says:

Kids go to helplines as much as they go to friends? Who are these kids?

  12. Richard says:

The sad thing is that if you made this graph 20 years ago, you’d just replace “Internet” with “no one.”

Although I agree with Jes – helpline more than friends? That’s just sad.

  13. LibrarianJessica says:

Not just “kids,” peeps. All people go the the intarwebs more than anywhere else.

  14. sticit2daman says:

You are so in touch with the youth.

When ever I have a problem I go to Ask Jeeves as long as no one in my house is using the phone. Then I pop in a Betamax tape or an 8 track and wait for the dial up to load.

  15. allah says:

    Who uses ask Jeeves?

  16. Brendonkid says:

the internet never abused anyone, but parents and teachers can actually be the problem for kids…

and shouldn’t self injury be on there? works best imo

  17. feckineejit says:

Yahoo answers are some of the most unintentionally funny stuff written by idiots I have ever seen.

  18. Amilie says:

Who are these “others” you speak of? And I’m pretty sure friends should take up the majority of the non-Internet part of this graph.

  19. philip says:

Google > yahoo (answers) > askjeeves > your mom.

  20. Javz says:

And when the kids turn to Y!A about their sexuality… I’m the guy they’re getting advice from. Some underemployed know it all who hasn’t had a date in three years.

I tell them it’s alright to not have a significant other at age 12, but apparently no one else ever has….

    Good job parents!
