  1. Gigiwiwi says:

    True
    EVERY F*CKING TIME!!!1!!!one!!!1!!!!!11!!

    • Mick says:

Lucky! I can never get back to my dream after I wake up. Evarrr!

    • VmKid says:

I’m not sure if this counts as a “first” comment or not.

    • damstr8 says:

Ditto, i always wake up as soon as the dream is about to get good. Be it just before the sex, or the loop de loop in the sky, or the sex and loop de looping at the same time. Why can’t i dream about flying sex? i hate my life… :P

  2. Sqwirk says:

You still haven’t woken up from that nightmare!

    dun dun dun

  3. Tabby says:

Sometimes you might not return to the dream, and have a different one completely XD

  4. Heath says:

If I’m having a nightmare and wake, but am insufficiently frightened to remain awake, I invariably return to the nightmare AND it starts to get worse. Yay.

    • Garry-Jason says:

It’s nice to know that other people are being terrorized in their dreams at night.. Not just me… The scariest dreams ate the ones that are still going on even when u r aware that your eyes are open… It sounds crazy but it happens..

  5. JasonApprentice says:

Also known as a FREDDY KRUEGER NIGHTMARE!

  6. Aaaaargh says:

Again, I’ll be critical. If this blood chilling nightmare of ultimate terror has a 100% chance to return… that would mean that you wouldn’t get rid of that nightmare for the rest of your life?

  7. BAReFOOt says:

Hey, I happen to like “naked at work” dreams. We’ve got some pretty hot chicks, and the dreams involve hot and nasty hardcore sex. But that’s why the don’t return. Ever. :/

  8. slupine says:

So damned true. I HATE that. lol

  9. Natalie says:

I’ve had it where I’ve had the same nightmare again, only worse things happened.

  10. Austin says:

Plus 30% to Sleep Paralysis. It counts.

  11. Charlotte says:

I generally find that it’s because I don’t actually wake up from the nightmare properly- I just scare myself half-awake, then fall back to sleep fully and repeat.

At least after the first time I realise that it’s just a nightmare so manage to wake myself up quicker.

  12. anon says:

UGH. This is so true! I get nightmares pretty frequently — about once a month — and twice a year or so I get ones so horrible that I actually wake up sobbing (and I’m not the type who scares or cries easily). As a result, I’ve taken to fully waking myself up to prevent reentering them. Of course, the problem with this is that I usually can’t fall asleep again for an hour or so after I’ve woken up from said nightmare.

Also, I have NEVER been able to reenter a sexy dream. I’d also say about 80% of my sexy dreams take place right before my alarm clock sounds. I’ll be about to start making out with George Clooney or something, and then I wake up to some news report blaring in my ear. How about I sleep for another half an hour and then just read the damn paper?! Grrr.

    • Candace says:

Just so you know, nightmares and sleep talking/walking are almost always a sign of B6 deficiency… if you start eating animal protein (eggs, fish, whatever) three times a day they should go away over time and be replaced by pleasant ones.

You could also go the easy route and take a supplemental form of B6 called P5P.

  13. mrthingus says:

And that’s why lucid dreaming wins…

  14. Madiantin says:

    ain’t that the truth.

  15. Alex says:

I don’t exactly know how to have lucid dreams, but most of the times I can turn things in my favor when I face the terrors of my nightmares. It ends up being very cool.

  16. Candace says:

This reminds me; I started taking an amino acid supplement called N*A*C (N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine) years ago, and one of the side effects they “warned” me about was a lot of “explosively sexual dreams”. They were right… I couldn’t complain either… unfortunately it’s an effect that wears off over time though.

  17. Captain Obvious says:

I had a dream where i flew up to heaven and did an angel. When I woke up I cried.

  18. meepymoof says:

GAAAH, HOW DID YOU GET IN MY HEAD?!?!? Well, at least regarding the sexy dreams and nightmares. It’s always extremely weird how when I fall back asleep after waking up from a nightmare it either continues or something else HORRIBLE happens. Like a two-part zombie dream I had once….or would that be twice? either way, it’s been permanently burned into my cerebrum, to forever haunt me. But of course, all of my sexy dreams are harshly mutilated by an explosive, throat-stripping sneeze that forces me to run to the tissue box in the middle of the night. By the time I get back in bed I forget what happened int he first place in my dream. I wonder if it’s punishment for having the dream in the first place? I dunno. But I wish I could have a full sexy dream for ONCE!!!!! Or twice. Or maybe more….

  19. twa9001 says:

    I never dream/remember my dreams

    maybe once every 6 months

    it sucks so bad

  20. Hikari says:

I have nighmares all the time, and always return to them is I’m lucky enough to wake up. And once back in the dream, I’ve forgotten that it’s not real. I once woke up at 4 in the morning (After going to bed at 12) just to avoid a particually scary one *shudders*

On a side note, I’ve never had a sex dream 0_o

  21. Idene says:

    thankfully, never had a horrible one repeat, but what was AWESOME, was i had this one dream, where i could jump 100 feet in the air at LEAST, and i would flap my arms and slowly float down to the ground, and i had that dream twice. i loved that dream. the first time i had it tho, i could also move around freely in water. :3 that was really fun, but i wake up so depressed because i can’t do it in real life. ;_;

  22. canttopit says:

    so friggin true

  23. BG maniac says:

its so cool when you have a flying dream… but i have one in 5 years x(

  24. dreamer says:

damnit! i want to go back to last night’s dream! it was more of a relationship thing than a “sexy” dream, but.. i wish i could go back to that! im not exactly loyal to my boyfriend in my dreams.. but i am in real life! thats okay, right..? xD
