Just here to stop all Firsters.
Too bad I’m late, I wanted to stop all Firsters Stoppers =P
What an eccentric person.
Fellow.
“Eccentric” collocates with “fellow”.
I know you are, but what am I?
Anyone else a ‘bug magnet’ like me? I’d love to be manly outdoors-man but bug sprays are a joke on me. I’m like a mosquito buffet outside! I was outside for literally 3 minutes last night and got bite twice, once inside the ear! God that’s annoying!
Enjoy Italian cooking! Eat garlic, or try the garlic capsules (not the no-odor kind)
I have gone on hikes in heavy mosquito areas where everone else is eaten alive while using the chemical sprays . Me? bite free.
(unless I stop taking the garlic…)
This is a fallicy. I’m part Italian and grew up eating a garlic rich diet and still eat very few meals without any garlic. I don’t get eaten up by mosquitoes like I used to, but I still get bitten. Of course, I also live in southern Louisiana.
Don’t forget sticky. Lots of them make you sticky too.
Agreed, same with sunscreen. 5% protects you from sun’s harmful, certain-death-cancer-causing rays, 95% makes you greasy, smelly, and disgusting.
makes a good impromptu flamethrower
bug spray doesn´t do a thing. what´s more, itch cream or spray does not at all make the itch go away, no matter how strong it is. the only thing that works for a few hours at most is very hot water, but that leaves a mark for longer.
The non-sticky dry kind tends to leave white streaks if you hold the spray too close to yourself.
They forgot the small sliver of this pie that should say “Causes seizures in young’uns”
FYI – white vinegar doesn’t stink once applied and does an ok job of keeping bugs away without the DEET crapola.
The green part is WAY too big…
They all make you smell bad and are probably stickly, but b-vitamins, garlic, citronella and lemongrass seem to work better than deet, and also not be so questionably safe.
I am also a bug-magnet and a gardener, so I speak with the sagacity of many years.
Should have a slice for “stings your eyes”
* Makes you spell bad (as in, wrong)
(sorry, someone had to)
