  1. Lonely Island says:

    Like a boss!

  2. sane person says:

    Post hoc

  3. StrangeMagic says:

They need a graph that details the chances of a former employee finding them and driving a stake thru their evil corperate hearts…

  4. Jes says:

Michael Scott has yet to be fired…

  5. Ekid2k says:

what if your funny friendly boss is also a professor who’s had his job since before you were born?

  6. marceloramires says:

it misses “the day after he tells you he was going to give you a raise next week”

  7. krissyray says:

    i agree! sooo agree!

  8. Strategia says:

“Hi, Peter. Yeah, I’m gonna have to ask you to come in on Sunday, so if you could be here around 9, that would be great…..”

  9. Jessi says:

It’s ben my experience that the ‘funny, friendly boss(es)’ spend their time dipping their pens in the company ink, and that’s why they tend to get fired.

Currently, though, I have a funny, friendly boss (as long as you’re doing your job) that spends about 25% of his conversation time recounting things that he and his ’sweetie’ (aka, his wife) did on his days off. Best boss, and man, I’ve ever worked for!

  10. thispieistoocold says:

yeah, hitler wan’t fired for 4 years

  11. Starlinguk says:

My boss was funny, until he got fired, then he came back (after a lawsuit) and turned into evil boss, and now we can’t get rid of him. Darn.

  12. Stephen says:

Having responsibility for P&L for your department can take the fun out of a boss and replace it with evil.

But if no one took repsonsibility for the P&L, then no one would be employed.

  13. patopurific says:

one of my bosses used to play soccer with us, invited us to his birthday, was funnym yet strict, and always fought for our good.. and that was his demise, he got fired in march…
the other boss has been in charge since 1995, and all i can say of him is that he’s a 6″3 pile of sh!t

  14. aaron m says:

All the evil boss wants is to get the job done, so move it on, slackers!

  15. bronwyn says:

Or they get transfered to another store .etc.

    COME BACK, LAST GUY!!

  16. Freethinker says:

I’m sure it’s true all too often, but not for me. At my last job I had a horrible boss, eventually he was sacked. We immediately got a new one, who used to work with us but now became our boss. He’s always been great. Maybe we were just lucky.

  17. OMG Why says:

I’d've said “chances of your boss being fired/transferred/quitting” as one of the best people I’ve ever worked for, after I just got permanently hired (though temp agency), is leaving…hopefully his replacement is cool.

  18. l-carnitine says:

Chances of my boss being get fired are very less because my boss is the owner of the company. So in my case its not at all possible.
