They don’t care about my money – it’s really their money to do with as they please.

They don’t care about my vote – they can buy 10 votes with a TV campaign for every 1 vote their actual behavior affects.

Regardless of party, Congress is overrun by the self-appointed nobility who have a divine right to be better than us.

But as a matter of usage, the term “Congressman” refers to members of the House of Representatives in particular. I agree that it’s unclear at first, but then you get used to the distinction.

The Senate and the House of Representatives are the “houses of Congress.” Senators and Representatives ARE referred to as Congressmen collectively, or their individual names, respectively. High school civics class fail.
