Um, correct me if I’m wrong… but isn’t the Senate part of Congress? Senators ARE congressmen, so this is very redundant.
Although the Senate and Congress are both considered “Houses of Congress,” Senators are not referred to as Congressmen.
Why not? Shouldn’t Representatives just be Representatives and Senators be Senators and they’re both congressmen? This is a flaw in the English language.

The Senate and the House of Representatives are the “houses of Congress.” Senators and Representatives ARE referred to as Congressmen collectively, or their individual names, respectively. High school civics class fail.
But as a matter of usage, the term “Congressman” refers to members of the House of Representatives in particular. I agree that it’s unclear at first, but then you get used to the distinction.

Hey dude that was a awesome post.. The graph is good but i think all senators & congressman are not same, i know congressman only wants the vote but all are not same so this graph is not perfect..
