FIRST!
Want to come over for some fun with Mudkipz!?! I wuv Mudkipz, you will too!
There are things you can do that will get you in jail, but not hell?
Failure to pay child support
Military AWOL
Maybe drunk driving
1. Greed/Sloth
2. Sloth
3. Gluttony
What’s the difference between sloth and sloth? Three toed? Giant? I suppose the first one would be a one toed sloth and the second would be a two toed sloth?
wait a minute…. i confused myself…
African or European sloth?
What? I don’t know! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHhhhhhhhhh……..
uhhhhhhhhhhhh…
Antarctican!
(sorry, Starsky beat me to the MP reference)
Actually, depending on your beliefs, and the reason for being AWOL, that might not send you to hell, but would probably send you to prison.
I think people who don’t pay child support and drive drunk qualify for the hell of Judeo-Christian tradition; unfortunately, since I’m an atheist I have to deal with the fact that people who deserve damnation will just be dead.
I disagree with the first part of your statement; the second part rocks.
I’ll argue the first part as if I was a Christian (my argument is not with you, exactly; I imagine I’m arguing with someone who is a Christian):
I. Not paying child support
a) Treat others as you would want to be treated = broken.
Public urination
wow. you haz a evil!
So what do you get when you intersect the things that will send you to jail and the things that will send you to hell?
You have fun!!!
it doesn’t HAVE to be marked. it’s just understood.
So you’d like to do all the stuff you’d go to hell or jail for? Dude, that’s sick.
My point exactly.
Actually, you could read it as “I’d likely go to jail and/or hell for most of the things I’d like to do someday.”
Although it would be better if the Hell and Jail circles weren’t entirely in the pink one.
You fail @ graphing…
Why do those two both have to intersect if they’re already inside the big circle?
Therein is the joke. The author wants to do a bunch of things some day, and many of those things are immoral as well as illegal!
Hell is imaginary.
But sometimes our imaginations get the better of us, do they not?
No.
I think many people understand how truly awesome this graph is. Clearly someone has a Dream!
Clearly someone’s a douchebag.
It’s The Jason…I like to speak in third person.
then shouldn’t you have said:
“The Jason likes to speak in third person”?
Clearly someone’s a pedo.
Eight year olds, dude.
in the middle should say “things related to my sexual orientation”
That is just WRONG, but I can’t stop laughing.
WIN!
i didn’t think this graph could have been saved, but you, sir, deserve a medal.
Can someone make a graph with which I’ll be able to show how awesome I am? I can’t work with this kind of material. You’re all wusses.
Any woman want a real man, look me up.
I’m a woman.
But, I guess you’re not my type since when I saw this graph I thought “haha, me too”.
I think it’s a friggin’ great GraphJam.
You’re obviously not a woman, troll.
You’re calling him/her a troll when you post the same damn response every day?
Yeah.
The person forgot to put a small circle outside of the green circle titled “Things I’ll actually do”
Are you sure? Maybe it’s so small that it’s microscopic.
I know they go over this on every venn diagram but I thought the size of the circle was completely unrelated to anything other than trying to be humerous
Hell would need to be real first.
this is a funny concept, but a complete and utter failure as a graph. if the implication is that the vast majority of things this guy wants to do are illegal and immoral, fine. but he certainly doesn’t want to do EVERY CONCEIVABLE illegal and immoral act that a person could do, which is what it means when those circles are entirely in the larger one.
and what’s the point of having them overlap if you’re not going to label the created sections with other stuff? for example, not paying taxes could end you up in jail, but not hell. renouncing god could end you up in hell, but not jail. and in the middle, you could put “punching a priest in the face” or something.
funny idea, but just really poorly done.
well, OK, I guess the circles could be just things that he’s already considering, not every conceivable thing. not as bad as I thought.
I think I managed to accomplish this entire graph on my recent trip to Costa Rica. But I didn’t actually manage to get to jail. 10 colones gets you pretty far, and it includes getting you out of jail.
The middle bit representing ’so-and-so’s fit daughter’?
You know, atheism can fix part of that problem.
