  1. Sllems Nalyved says:

This graph make me very confusing. Sorry my english not good.

  2. Newb says:

You forgot “Telling your neighbors to shut the h*** up!” and “Turn off that d*** phone!” Those should be at least a few percentage points — or at least higher than trying to eat popcorn. I didn’t realize folks had issues with that . . .

    • bunnyrut says:

why would you need to get up during the movie to answer your phone? are you that dependent on it?

aside from needing to use the bathroom during a very long movie, i have not had any of these issues.

      then again, i’m not retarded…

  3. unimpressed ian says:

Not up to usual graph jam standards

  4. meower13 says:

if the blue part was criticizing flaws the graph would fit my dad

  5. thisgraphsucks says:

I’m guessing if you had ADD or were mentally challenged this graph would make perfect sense.

For anyone with half a brain, nope. I get the “getting up, having to do things” part just fine (assuming you’re at home, if you’re at a theater then you belong to the aforementioned because you can get your drink and go to the bathroom before the movie starts and your phone should be off)

Also, you say you spend more time criticizing the movie than you do trying to understand the movie. . .while its playing. That’s 100% retarded.

And finally, it’s called IMDB. It tells you who is in every movie, use it.

    • getthestickoutyourass says:

Wow lighten up, its just a bit of fun. Its graphjam, don’t take it so seriously. Oh, and if you imdb every movie your about to see just to find out what the main actor has been in before, then you have too much time on your hands.

    • Philip says:

WOAH! hang on there bud…sit down, relax and take a chill pill.

Jeese-o its just a bit of fun. dont takae the graph so seriously….

      *under his breath* jesus christ*

      • Pennyforth says:

Actually, I too was going to point out the ability to access the web would help in IDing an actor and his/her roles–though I’m just saying it casually, and not trying to be a jerk about it like “thisgraphsucks”. I do it sometimes while watching a DVD or TV show and I just can’t make my brain remember where I saw someone before (though I at least make the attempt before resorting to the web). And with the increasing number of web-connected mobile devices, it’s not inconceivable that someone might do the same while watching at a theater.

But, y’know, just saying…making conversation and all. Not being an *ss.

    • alan smithee says:

      i agree with you.

  6. chrisp says:

i have ADHD and this graph is still a load of bollocks

  7. chemical109 says:

my activities while watching a movie include:

    WATCHING THE F***ING MOVIE.

    • papajon0s1 says:

You get the “best post of the day” award.

      • StCyr says:

I’m glad someone else noticed the lack of watching/enjoying the movie. Honestly, why would anyone even go to movies if this were the case?

    • simplysaid says:

I know, this sounds like my half of my friends and my parents. I always have to tell everybody to SHUT THE HELL UP AND WATCH THE DAMN MOVIE!!!!!!!

  8. adam shmadam says:

its nothing more annoying than watching a movie with someone who complains about everything lol. unless if its a movie with Paris Hilton, than its aloud

  9. bodo says:

Wait, wasn’t that the guy from…that movie that he did? And didn’t she do that…other movie? I’m sure it’s her – yeah! That’s definitely…someone who completely…resembles the person that…ah crap.

  10. Chass says:

That’s why we make whoever’s closest to the computer at the end of the room check IMDb =)

  11. jerryfantastic says:

actually i just watch the movie.

  12. Chado says:

The person who did this chart seems like fella I would gladly punch in the face, should he end up in the same theater as me

  13. dardub says:

I personally spend 75% of my time criticizing the movie. And I’ve never had the inclination to answer a phone during the movie.

  14. Paul says:

How does one get popcorn into one’s mouth unsuccessfully?

  15. Chrism says:

You must be a nightmare to sit next too when watching a movie!!

  16. Meg-Meg says:

I spend most of a movie trying to figure out if the actors are English or American. I’m such a weirdo -.-

  17. scott says:

That graph is me. Perfectly me.

  18. cucuto89 says:

    F, Se me after class

  19. Flick says:

I really annoy my son by constantly asking “now what was he/she in?”

And the fun is in the guessing and not on looking up the answer on IMDb. Some people on here forgot to take their personality pills today!

  20. Devylan says:

For me, the yellow portion would be trying to figure out what other movies the main actors have played in before. I usually just watch the movie, unless I think it’s stupid. Then I spend most of the time criticizing it. But I don’t usually go to the movie theater either.

  21. papajon0s1 says:

When I watch a movie I also usually actually watch the movie. At home I make use of this incredible new technology called the “pause” button. But then again, I do play World of Warcraft so what do I know anyway.

  22. cipher_nemo says:

The poor sap making this graph is probably a hopelessly confused blond female. Time spent trying to figure out the plot? And then the part about figuring out what other movies the main character’s actor starred in? That reeks of female tendencies. I hate it when women ask me, “oh, see that actor… I know he played in something else recently!”… “do you know?”. GRRRR! Shudddup and let me watch!

  23. Wait, so my name goes here? says:

You forgot the “making out with your girlfriend and not watching the movie” section

  24. Claire says:

Apart from the one about eating popcorn, these are all things that I do after the movie, not during.

  25. Kate says:

I am so glad I’m not the only one who’s hobby it is to go ‘OMG, WHO’S THAT! WHAT WERE THEY IN? THEY WERE IN SOMETHING!’ and then, if I can’t think of it, look it up on IMDB. Then make whoever I’m with guess by giving them crap clues. Even though they invariably don’t give a damn.

I don’t limit that to films though – TV programmes, adverts, music videos…

And just days ago, I saw ‘My Favourite Martian’(I think?) on channel 5. Which features that guy who plays the professor in Back to the Future, and a talking space suit. And what do I criticise? The fact that I highly doubt you could get a fingerprint from a wet, used cigarette.

Needless to say, I was told to shut up.

    • Kate says:

I’d like to add here that I don’t do this in GOOD films – only bad ones that tend to be on TV on Sunday afternoons.

  26. Alex says:

    This is completely spot on.
