  1. Fallen Angel says:

    HAAAA! lol

  2. mamarosa says:

    What?

I can still see the smaller slices!

  3. Snommelp says:

Could’ve just put everything else into one tiny slice and labeled it “stuff people actually care about”

    • Servant of Metal in the Doom of Satans Work in the Hour of 1337 Music says:

      Would do

      • M4ce says:

Nah, I actually like the effort that has gone into choosing the other slices.

It’s cute. And adds to it.

Graph done right, if you ask me.

  4. MK1K says:

Wasn’t there another graph exactly like this that wasn’t funny either?

    • katdemon♄fire says:

yes, yes there was. But at least it’s true. Then again the other one was true. Hence them being exactly alike.

      • scott says:

        what you said.

The only difference was that the 1st graph was dealt with the week before July, this one with July

  5. Merm says:

    Hasn’t this been done before?

    • D M says:

Hasn’t the comment that this has been done before been done before?

      • papajon says:

Yes. The MJ graphs and jokes are getting as tedious as the never ending coverage.

And to you trolls (not you D M) that are aping people’s names and posting infantile remarks, you are sucking the life right out of this site. You punks are worse than my 6 year old who suffers from ADHD. Feel free to make crude remarks about a child suffering from an illness; because that’ll make you edgy and cool.

        • Me says:

          Now THAT is clever! :)

        • D M says:

Why doesn’t GJ just require people to sign up, which at least would make it Impossible for people to hijack names?? Seems like people are getting frustrated with the site.

          • bionelly says:

That, or at least have avatars like PK and ROFLrazzi do. I used to really like reading the comments here, but all this foolishness is really getting irritating.

    • Me says:

Dude, I don’t mind you posing as other people at all. But your comments aren’t even funny. Actually they are somewhat childish. Can you at least type something clever for a change? Thanks.

    • spamihazit says:

I agree. I think we’re all pau with the MJ taking up news coverage posts. Don’t make me make a graph about graphs in graphjam all being about MJ taking up news coverage!!!!

  6. Dan the Man says:

Hasn’t the comment that that comment had been done before been done before?

  7. Bob says:

My expectation of this graph being about Michael Jackson:

    100%

    You’re feeding the fire, thejonshow.

  8. Q says:

Missle tests? What’s a missle? Oh, yes, that’s how Americans spell:
    M-I-S-S-I-L-E.

  9. Skyshade13 says:

Okay, stop with the Micheal Jackson jokes, they’re getting old!

  10. Servant of Metal in the Doom of Satans Work in the Hour of 1337 Music says:

I know why Micheal Jackson died…

    He couldn’t beat it anymore!

    Meheheh….

  11. vervain says:

Well, it makes a certain degree of sense if you think about it. All those other things have probably either happened before or will happen again. MJ will only croak once.

Which is not to say the coverage isn’t only slightly less annoying* than the coverage we got when Anna Nicole Smith bought the farm.

*Slightly less annoying because MJ’s fame was somewhat more deserved; his contributions to the world extended a little beyond the ownership of a massive pair of fake boobs. FWIW.

    Still pretty annoying, IMO.

  12. UpTheYingYang says:

What? He hasen’t risen from the grave yet? Whats he waiting for an engraved invitation from the Easter Bunny?

  13. Kyo says:

Wait, what about Swine Flu? :O

  14. Band Mom says:

You forgot Gov Mark Sanford and his Argentinian trist! Maybe it is because I live in the south but it seems they just couldn’t shut this guy up, he just kept cofessing to more and more and more.

  15. LadyLuck says:

What happened to Jon and Kate?

  16. Lawl says:

    Geez, this is getting old.

  17. me!!! says:

    Not original at all

  18. cipher_nemo says:

Total truth. But repeating it over and over again is a little hypocritical.

  19. Kristy says:

I want to thank who ever made this graph. My family lives in Honduras, and they’ve been very worried about the whole thing and everytime I look for information on Honduras it’s a tiny article with all of two paragraphs and often containing incorrect information. I am dead tired of Michael. Great voice, great performer, great artist, but not that great a guy. I’m a little more worried about a country getting itself into more poverty and strife or being taken over by dictators. Sorry for the rant; I know it doesn’t affect most of you.

    • bionelly says:

I can’t speak for everybody else, but I don’t mind the rant at all. The situation in Honduras may not affect me directly, but I still think it’s a whole lot more important than Michael Jackson’s death. Even if he was a great guy, his death still wouldn’t warrant *this* much attention, especially not when there’s so much actual news they should be reporting on.

  20. Fez says:

I would think most people are really sick of hearing about bombings, explosions, war, dictators, and terror. Not to mention bent reporting. The news does that ALL the time.

A celebrity is, even in death, a whole other thing to think of. Rather hear about that, myself, just for a change of scenery.

    • bionelly says:

Then you can turn off the news and watch a celebrity gossip show. That’s what those are for. The news, on the other hand, is supposed to at least spend some time on things that are actually important. I mean, I would expect them to mention his death, because it *is* news, but the way it’s taken over is just ridiculous.

  21. Cake says:

Where’s the Obama kissassery on there?

  22. Rene says:

And accurately there is no slice for Robert McNamara…

  23. The King of Tots Dead says:

LMAO this GraphJam is awesome and true. Love it!

  24. Jessica says:

All the slices but the MJ slice need to be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay smaller. microscopic even.

  25. Peanut says:

They forgot Swine Flu in this graph

  26. jdog says:

No farking kidding. Epic coverage of a dead child molester. Almost no coverage of events that actually matter.

  27. Ashley says:

Glad someone else noticed that. Media idiots.
    ~Ash

  28. EB says:

You know Michael Jackson is STILL dead? I know. I’m surprised too. Elvis is still alive, though. No doubt about that.

  29. MAXTHEHOTDOG says:

thank you!!!!!! im so tired of M.J.

  30. Anonymus says:

Why are we all grieving for this guy?!?! Everybody thought that he was a pedophile before he died and now, people worship him like he’s Jesus!

  31. Kim says:

    LOL! so true…..

  32. ZaraZee123 says:

    It’s funny ‘cos it’s true.

  33. rixx says:

haha)) it’s very funny cuz it’s SO STUPID AND SO TRUE!!

not to mention the disgusting amount of hypocrisy out there!
