Yes Nilla. That’s the one. The girl who was supposed to be eye candy but had problems acting. And she was NOT the main character. The main human character was Sam Witwicky (Shia LeBouf’s character)
She’s the furthest thing on my mind when I think about seeing that movie, but I’m also not an 18-25 year old boy. Of course, neither are a lot of people in the world. This graph belongs on failblog, honestly.

It’s not an issue of age or gender but rather on which basis you choose your movies. I watch movies because of plot, not “OMG BOOBS!!!11!1″.
my reason to go see transformers is because TIS FLIPPIN TRANSFORMERS! at least its better than the stupig CGI cybertron shows.
Yeah, here’s the thing.
1) She’s not that hot.
2) She’s not a good actress.
3) If good looking women and boobs are the only reason you’re going to see a movie, just get porn. It’s cheaper, you’ll see significantly more, and the acting is about the same.
4) She’s dumb to boot: Fox said of her Marilyn Monroe tattoo, “She was one of the first people I saw on television, like, literally moments after I was born. Every time I heard her voice growing up I always would cry. I wouldn’t know why when I was younger but had my own theories. I’ve just always empathized with her.”
Loved Transformers toys and cartoons as a kid, but these movies don’t do either justice. These movies attract the typical dunderhead demographic. Lots of ’splosions, action, comic book plot…etc. Lowest common denominator.
And what’s up with the Megan Fox haters? Especially the guys on here…I’ve heard of girls and women being catty about each other but it’s odd to read catty comments from guys about a girl. By the way, she’s hot, down to earth, and is riding this fame thing like a pro. Kudos to her.
By “down to earth” if you mean as dumb as a sack of rocks. Yep! She’s hot, but even in my eye candy, I need a little more substance. I’ll pass – leave her for the boys with lower standards.
What makes you think she’s so dumb? I’ve seen her in interviews, mostly on late night talk shows, and she seems well-rounded and pleasant. I don’t think she’s gonna cure cancer any time soon, but she’s savvy enough so far to handle her fame well.
The whole point of “eye candy” is a person’s looks, which inherently lacks “substance,” right? To me she’s a 10. Hard to beat that jet black hair, lean body, and those daring eyes.

Anyone who goes for this is about to be sorely disappointed.
There’s only about 20 minutes of robots fighting in the movie, 5 at the start, 5 in the middle and 10 at the end. Seriously.
Backwards ryan is just trying to put you off, it’s like almost non-stop robot fights with romantic interludes.
I went more for the action and the actual Transformers. The humans were funny but I like the Tranformers and some of the main military guys (Lennox and Epps)
I personally saw the first one because I wanted to see Starscream and Megatron together. Hopefully there’ll be more time featuring THEM. Especially considering that he bailed at the end of the first movie to leave Megatron for dead at the bottom of the ocean in enemy territory.
That’s what Starscream does best! There’s lots about the bad guys in this one…

Cause I’m pretty sure that I’m not alone in seeing that movie for reasons other than Megan Fox, the story, or the action. I’ll definitely say people see it for her, but not a such a skewed percentage.

Haha, we went to see it on Friday. Despite it being the third day that it was in theatres, every showing was sold out. And they had it playing on 3 or 4 different screens. We got crappy seats that caused us to develop eyestrain, headaches, and neck strain
. I still liked the movie, though. It grossed me out when that blonde girl turned out to be a Decepticon. I saw it coming, but it was still nasty.
Also, those twin Autobots are my favorite. They remind me of a lot of people I know. :\

They’ll be disappointed with all three. The story was horrid this time around. The action was worse: bigger wasn’t better. Bigger was ugly, irritating, and confusing. And Michael Bay apparently had a greater appreciation for moving mechanical parts than Megan Fox in this film.
