Only my mother agrees with this one. Not saying the magic number? Sorry.
Tyler, get your Mum some grammar lessons like a good lad
.
Ah, brings back the good old days when my father actually used to beat me. Tactful, arentcha mum
You mean, I DON’T need two packages of L’il Smokies (mini sausages), an economy pack of Swiffer refills which will dry out before I use them, and Juicy Juice with “supplements” that don’t really do anything?
and don’t forget coupons that expired yesterday.
The best coupons are the ones where I would have to buy more than I need in order to save 50¢
Vicar, that was officially my favorite comment ever.
Or, how about the coupons of something that seems intriguing that I might want to try, but everywhere I go to look for it, it’s not there, and the sales clerk has never even heard of it?!
Lol. Thanks.
Coupons just make me buy extra crap I don’t need…I’ll buy it just because I have a coupon for it. Damn you marketing departments!!!
So true, I can never find any coupons for Hot Pockets.
I see coupons for Hot Pockets all the time, but you always have to get 10 packages or something. Seriously, who eats that many Hot Pockets?
Exactly, I always seem to have a coupon for something off 5 or 6 boxes of Hot Pockets! I only have a normal size freezer, and even my son occasionally wants to eat something that’s NOT Hot Pockets…
Hey, maybe me & bionelly & crack all need to go to the store together and split the coupon!
Speaking from the other side of the register, I hate coupons because many people don’t take the time to actually READ the stupid things.
That’s definitely true. At least half of the people who try to use coupons at my store either have the wrong brand, or didn’t buy enough, or are trying to use coupons from other stores, or (my personal favorite) didn’t notice that what they have is actually an ad, not a coupon.
I noticed you enjoy the art of saving money, so I wanted to quickly tell you about my website BOGOfetcher:
You can get local BOGO (Buy One, Get One) deals emailed to you weekly from BOGOfetcher! Over 90 nearby grocery stores, more than 15 neighborhood pharmacies, plus the shoe stores, fast food and other places you already shop have amazing bargains you can receive weekly, at no cost. No personal info is required other than your email address, city and state so we can send you the BOGOs in your area. You can even do a local search without signing up using the “Find BOGOs” tab! After that the BOGO’s will begin to roll in. And simply unsubscribe if you’re not satisfied.
I use coupons all the time for things I ACTUALLY need and use. I get things for free on a regular basis that I actually use. Name brand deoderant, shampoo & conditioner, toothpaste, makeup, toilet paper. And that’s just for the bathroom. Don’t even get me started on how little I can spend on groceries! Try hotcouponworld.com or moneysavingmom.com to see for yourself.
I agree with this graph.
Shouldn’t the blue and yellow circles be intersecting?
Can you send me a coupon for Large Bath sheets.. I would like to buy good quality ones for my daughter’s cottage.
