Ehh, none of this matters. Obama is a socialist, and it will never make sense to me as to why anyone, with interest in protecting this country, would have ever voted for him. Are you kidding? The government forced several companies to take bailout money, the companies in question did not want the money because it came on the condition of government control until repayment of debt. So……forcing companies under your control is not socialist?

Funny, I kinda feel a lot of major news places are sticking ot the Obama fluff pieces on purpose and not really applauding his daily policy moves on the rocket sled towards socialism we’re on. Me thinks some folks are starting to wise up and remember that we fought wars against this kind of blatant attack on our freedoms.

Banks were actually forced to take bailout money….
i.e- wells fargo who didn’t even need it, or want it, then the gov took the “liberty” of telling them what they can or cannot spend it on. so yeah….way to do research xD

I would say that virtually all so-called “news” is more focused on reporting on pointless things like entertainment and celebrities than on actual news. The corporation-owned media wants the public to be more focused on extraneous garbage than on what our public servants are doing, not doing, or being lobbied and bought out by them to do. You have to wonder what they are trying to divert attention from when some little white girl goes missing and it’s all over the national news. Why would a war be reported on less than some actor or starlet ODing? Out of sight, out of mind.
They do this because a good portion of news watchers are uneducated and would consider a report on Iraq to be boring, but…. HE GOT A DOG!!! WOW!, DOGS ARE CUTE!!!!! OBAMA GOT A DOG, COOL!!
If you’re talking about the same little white girl I think you are, she actually lives in my town, so it’s relevant to my interests how the search for her is going.
Which means it makes sense as a local story for your town, but not as a national story.
What I was referring to in that portion of my statement was that the news loves to report on attractive white girls that go missing: from Chandra Levy to Elizabeth Smart to Natalee Holloway. I was not implying that it is not important to report on or relevant to your interests, but surely it shouldn’t be made into weeks of broadcast material when there are more important things going on that affect the lives of more people. There is also the fact that the only “missing person” stories that are relentlessly broadcast are those about white, pretty females from middle to upper class families.
Yeah mainly because people kidnap mostly white girls and small children as opposed to black people. Pedo’s just loooove white girls for whatever reason.
