  1. im-just-here says:

i fell in reallife running from a swarm of bees and broke my tooth and was stung about 12 times

    • Lukas says:

      I’m sorry for you

    • Your Mom says:

Let me play a wee one for you.
      *Gets out world’s smallest violin*
I was swarmed by 50 yellow jackets as a kid, and almost became allergic to bees forever.

      • im-just-here says:

you dont become allergict your born allergic ive been swarmed(obviously it was a swarm i was runnin from) to i only used that one as an example for howoften youl be triped in real life…p.s. im still only 14 and been swarmed 3 times ;)

        • InsertReferencehere says:

Actually, a person can develop an allergy to certain toxins after repeated exposure. In fact, there’s even been cases of people developing allergies to metals such as nickle and gold.

          • im-just-here says:

ok well still metals last i checked bees arnt metals

            • Dina says:

Yes, but people who didn’t previously have strong bee allergies can develop them. My grandma did, for one.

            • Andrea says:

It’s common for an allergy to bee stings can develop only after the first sting (kind of like a vaccination). In those cases, the first sting doesn’t cause much of a reaction, but from then on, the body will recognises the molecule. The next time the body is exposed to it, it reacts — or in the case of allergy, overreacts.

  2. 2nd says:

    Second

  3. Jimbo is bored says:

I appreciate the point, but I’m afraid this graph doesn’t impress me much. Yeah scary movies are cliche; especially the half-clothed woman tripping when the killer is chasing her, but this one isn’t really that clever.

  4. uaua says:

Obviously the person who made this graph, and many other people he knows have already been chased in the woods by a serial killer, i can’t see how else he could be sure that you wouldn’t trip yourself in this situation…

  5. MLD says:

I think running upstairs is more cliche

  6. Czernobog says:

You are all missing the point.

This is not a Murphy’s Law graph. And as such, it is already funnier and more original then at least 60% of the graphs that have made it to the front page. 4/5 pie-charts.

  7. Bob says:

It happens in my dreams (or nightmares) all the time. Why can’t I ever seem to get my footing right? I always can’t see or hear that well either. Damn you REM sleep!

    • Riatha82 says:

I was thinking the same thing – this graph needs another bar – NIGHTMARES!! I can never run away in nightmares without falling, and not just once, but repeatedly… Although I am a klutz in real life too…

    • Lucy says:

I have similar nightmares. Either my feet feel like they are made of lead, and it is very difficult to lift them and flee, or I run as quickly as possible, and whatever is chasing me is able to keep up by merely walking normally. It’s frustrating. Also, I hate dreams wherein you try to scream, but all that comes out is a hoarse whisper; also, when I’m trying to get the attention of others for help, but they either can’t hear or ignore me despite the fit I’m throwing. Boooo, nightmares.

    • thomasrutter says:

they need another column labelled “in dreams”

  8. GazUtd says:

Woooo 1st time on FP of GraphJam.

For those who liked it I thank you.

For those who said it was rubbish I hope you trip over and bang your head on that massive chip on your shoulder!

    • Your Mom says:

      Win to you!

    • Myself says:

Actually, this graph isn’t true, yes it seems overly cliche for a person to trip, while in the process of running away from something.
But in reality, when you’re panicking, it’s a lot harder to stay balanced, and focused on where you’re going. Panic and fear, really affect your ability to think clearly. Yes if you’re just joking around with a friend, and running away from him/her, you aren’t likely to fall, but in an actual situation where you’re panicking, you’re less likely to watch your step, for things you may trip on…

And seriously, just because people call your graph false, is no reason to get all butt hurt, and wishing misfortune on others. Lets stick to being mature here please.

      • GazUtd says:

Erm I wished someone would fall and “hurt” themselves on the chip on their shoulder.

It’s not actually real you know!

And when a person types a whole essay on a graph I think they negate their right to give advice!

      • eman says:

        Butt hurt?

Hmmm, I think I like that expression.

    • Dina says:

Obviously you have never met me, then. I trip over just trying to get out of my bedroom in the morning.

  9. MissLace says:

Not bad, but I would have changed “something” to
    “zombies, monsters, and/or radioactive robots”!
Oh, just my simple, humble opinion!

  10. Zoid says:

How often do people run away from things in real life?

    • GazUtd says:

Well we have all ran away from your mom at one stage or another.
Once she has that 3rd JD & Coke she gets a bit scary!

  11. Rory says:

    when i steal stuff

  12. wii says:

my ex did it when we broke up, so… =P
