I try to pay respect to the people who have helped make the movie I just enjoyed, so I attempt to read every name, which becomes really difficult with movies like The Matrix and Lord of The Rings, which have credits screaming by at the speed of sound for ten minutes straight. It's exercise for the eyeballs, damnit!
