What about those annoying rappers with no talent?
They fall into the Santa Claus category(?)
lol! defenitly.
What about Liono from Thundercats?
He says HO to enlarge his sword…
He’s a pimp isn’t he….?
It’s been done, but without Santa.
http://graphjam.com/2008/08/13/song-chart-memes-amount-yelled-ho/
Dude, if he can enlarge his “sword” by saying ‘ho’, then he’s a male prostitute, and we all want his cell phone number.
He forgot Thundercats
i didn’t, but missed out on pirates and santa; http://graphjam.com/2008/08/13/song-chart-memes-amount-yelled-ho/
HOOoooooo!
FTW!
what about thundercats
Agreed. It should be One part Thundercats (Thundercats, ho!), two parts pirate (yo ho ho), and three parts Santa (ho ho ho).
Ho, Ender.
win for referencing ender’s game. I LOVE that book.
And a win yourself for catching that. I was starting to feel discouraged that the reference was not being noticed.
Epic win for the reference!
(i can’t believe someone else thought of this)
Ho, Bean.
This graph is mathematically disproportionate. Santa’s, on average, have not twice, but three times as many hoes as pirates or pimps.
Also, to imply that pimps have only one use for hoes is biased and prejudice against possible pimp creativity.
Upon review, I come to realize that pirates may in fact have equal usage of hoes as do santa’s.
Please restate your parameters.
proportions should be 3:2:1
Santa: Ho Ho Ho
Pirates: (Yo) Ho Ho (& a bottle of rum)
Pimp: (She’s my) Ho
Actually, I would say that since Santa only Ho Ho Ho’s once a year, and pirates/pimps Ho all year round, that Santa might have the lowest Ho usage.
Although I will agree with you that since pimps have synonyms that they can (and do) use interchangeably with Ho (e.g. bitch), their usage would be significantly lower than pirates, especially in light of jorj’s breakdown of Ho proportion.
is it just me or are the lines on the graph just no strait?
What about the Green Giant?
You’re right. I miss the GG.
This graph is incomplete without the addition of the Thundercats.
How about Shakespearean actors? As in, “Ho, there, knave!” “Ho” was used much like we would currently use “Hey.”
I would like to thank the graph maker for _not_ including “shakespearean actors.”
Lessee … no Thundercats, no Jolly Green Giant, no Ramones (Hey Ho, Let’s Go!) …
that jolly green giants a pimp
So are the Ramones >.>
Sadly, I am turned off by any chart that makes humor out of prostitution references.
Piracy hurts more people than prostitution.
Then put three ho’s together and get jolly.
lol
ho
What about HoHos? (those chocolate rolled snack cake things)
yum
I think this is my first ever comment on graphjam. But this is really important… the maker forgot THUNDERCATS!!!!!! Sheesh, that’s 90% right there
You spent your virginity for a repeat comment? Lame.
Kidding. Welcome.
Would have been better as a bar graph
Pimps = 1 Ho
Pirates = 2
Santa = 3
Thundercats = eleventy billion
Still, well done
I’m quite suprised that the creator of this graph forgot Thundercats…
However, good job anyways.
whatabout farmers?
That’s “hoe,” not “ho.” Homonyms don’t count.
What about hetronyms?
Whatabout the answer question the Jeopardy guy, Jennings, gave when given “a long handled gardening tool or an immoral pleasure seeker”–What’s a ho?
Actually, rake and I answered correctly. I read way too many English period novels…
Vietnam War protesters: HO HO HO CHI MINH, NLF is going to win! ( Just ask Jane Fonda and Henry Kissinger)
What, no Thundercats?
what about the chinese? like my grampa, mr. ho.
What about dwarves?
“Hi Ho, Hi Ho” etc etc
A shameful and discriminatory oversight.
just cause dwarves are littler, doesnt mean they dont use ho as much as anyone else!
What about the Lone Ranger? And his HO was high!
Percentage of Fail of this graph ?
I’d say it’s about 175%.
I may be totally retarded, but who on earth are the Thundercats that everyone are talking about?
amazing cartoon. you’re missing out.
SNARF!
*click link*
No Thundercats = epic fail
I’m surprised no one’s mentioned Hacksaw Jim Duggan yet…
Um, No Jerry Springer?!
Come on, Don Imus?
You should have put “chemists” in there too -
You forgot Shakespeare…..
what about scale?
this is absolutely amazing. because this is how pie charts should be. YES.
Q:What phrase do pirates and pimps have in common?
A:Yo! Ho!
What about the null hypothesis in hypothesis testing?
No Thundercats?!
