Naw, I’m just saying its more likely. I’m not saying that people who sell expensive things are always good, honest people who just want to pay their employees well. Note that I said, “Buying a $150 shirt from a GOOD company.”
I agree with you that people cheat to get ahead. Wal-Mart still sucks.

Anyone who cheats their customers out of $150 for a plain white T-shirt must be “a business that treats employees well”? ‘Tain’t necessarily so….

As a rule people who cheat their customers cheat their employees too. They are also likely to cheat their investors or partners and cheat on their taxes and seize every other opportunity they can find to cheat someone.

Isn’t it more likely that the $1 shirt was made in China than an expensive designer one? Sure tons of “designer” stuff is just ordinary garbage with a jacked up price, but there are plenty of expensive companies that sell clothing that isn’t made in sweatshops.
Besides, Wal-Mart employees are treated like absolute garbage. The money you save in purchases ends up going, in taxes, to employees who aren’t paid enough by their corrupt companies. Buying a $150 shirt from a good company ensures that you’re putting money towards a business that treats employees well.
