You neglected to include Pantstown, 3 for $10 sheesh

  5. Nubify says:

This is especially the case with Hollister. $16 for a plain white t-shirt

Oh wait.. Never mind. They have that little seagull on the corner! Now it’s definitely worth $16.

  6. forge says:

It’s having to pay for that bonyass supermodel to pose in it with her nipples protruding that costs all the extra money.

  7. rach says:

I know a woman who really spends that $150 for T-shirts. She’s mortified that I shop at JC Penny. But you should’ve seen the look she gave me when I told her I did shop at thrift stores. …..I love messing with rich people.

  8. Sarah says:

But…you must shirk out 150 bucks for something that was sweat over in China. Only then can you truly appreciate life and all it has to offer!

    /sarcasm

    • igloomccoy says:

Isn’t it more likely that the $1 shirt was made in China than an expensive designer one? Sure tons of “designer” stuff is just ordinary garbage with a jacked up price, but there are plenty of expensive companies that sell clothing that isn’t made in sweatshops.
Besides, Wal-Mart employees are treated like absolute garbage. The money you save in purchases ends up going, in taxes, to employees who aren’t paid enough by their corrupt companies. Buying a $150 shirt from a good company ensures that you’re putting money towards a business that treats employees well.

      • Sarah says:

Bloody hell dude. I was being sarcastic.

        See this? “/sarcasm” See? See?

        • NoseMoking says:

i think a lot of people on the internet are “sarcasm virgins”. At least, they seem to be :P

        • igloomccoy says:

I’m no div. I was responding to your sarcasm. Your /sarcasm tag implied that you were being sarcastic about buying an expensive shirt-as in buying an expensive shirt makes you a tool.
I’m saying buying a wal-mart shirt makes you a tool.

      • Cougar Allen says:

Anyone who cheats their customers out of $150 for a plain white T-shirt must be “a business that treats employees well”? ‘Tain’t necessarily so….

As a rule people who cheat their customers cheat their employees too. They are also likely to cheat their investors or partners and cheat on their taxes and seize every other opportunity they can find to cheat someone.

        • igloomccoy says:

Naw, I’m just saying its more likely. I’m not saying that people who sell expensive things are always good, honest people who just want to pay their employees well. Note that I said, “Buying a $150 shirt from a GOOD company.”
I agree with you that people cheat to get ahead. Wal-Mart still sucks.

          • csdx says:

            “GOOD company”
I think you made an oxymoron there
Companies (at least for profit ones) really aren’t about doing good so much as making money

  9. peirce says:

you forgot american apparel. for like $30 wtf.

  10. thinks about stuff says:

look dude you dont relize the 150 shirt is confertable and not everyday shirt a 1 dollar is garbage rough and weird, if u every were a non – plyester shirt u learn that thing its cheap is uncomfritable go for the middle a 5 dollar shirt isnt bad but a 1 dollar were u geting it from swap meet in the ghetto i would know im from new orleans

  11. Michelle says:

I once went in Harvey Nicks (posh shop in England) and saw a white t-shirt for over £300. I was shocked!

  12. yasoup says:

I did used to shop at Wal-Mart for things like cotton shirts, until everything got so thin. Now the stitching and threading is so poor in quality. Even polos are going that way sometimes. I get accessories, like socks and belts, there, but I get everything else at dept. stores like Sears and shop around carefully. I even pick at the stitching. Unfortunately, even brands like Levi’s are getting shoddy. :( And that new brand, American Apparel? Don’t tell me it isn’t made in some unfortunate, Chinese version of a Dickensian sweatshop.

  13. That One Guy says:

Now I thought that you could get a good plain white tee for a good price if you have a good friend named Delilah.

    *brick’d*

  14. JAC says:

    truth!

  15. mjc says:

Although why anyone wants to by any product with “Plain White T” in its title is beyond me.

  16. A_Ness says:

All Axis Fail. Duh. What kind of asshole spends $20 on ONE t-shirt at sears? Theres 3-6 in that package, fathead.
