i think there are some special people that work for mail services.

example: recently ordered a DSi through amazon. UPS.com says “delivered at front door!” never got there. amazon graciously sends another, no charge (love me some amazon). supposed so sign for it. ups guy just hands it to me without a word. could have been the wrong address and another complete stranger would have gotten a free DSi.

still wonder what happened to the first one…

I will explain: the times your dog barks at the mail man is a discrete variable, (unless you have a dog that can bark 1.5 times), the meters the dog chases the mail man before being maced is a countinous variable ( 1.57 meters)

A LOT of people need to, for instance anyone working with legal documents that must be signed/notorized would have to send through mail rather than fax or email.

I’ve had a letter in my mailbox for a week that has a sticker on it saying “this is an attempt at delivery, if this is not you please return it to your box to be picked up”

I’ve gotten mail 4 out of the 6 days it’s been sitting there.

It’s not for me and in no way does the address on it even remotely look like my own!

Yay for our postal service!

Don’t forget the unlabeled line between “my mailbox” and “neighbor’s mailbox.” Would that be on the street between the two houses, do you think? Not that it matters, since nothing ends up being at any of the named locations, based on where the graph designer put the vertices.
