  1. Jefoid says:

If you can even think about dancing at .25 you are a better man than I. (And quite likely an alcoholic)

  2. Josh says:

The graph would make more sense as two countering logistic curves: one going up and balancing out for “desire”, and one going down and balancing out for “ability”.

  3. LHLD says:

hey i sing along no matter how sober i am. this isn’t fair.

    • Hell Hath No Fury says:

me too! Loudly and off-key! I sometimes have to claim drunk because it’s the only way to save me from head-hanging shame.

  4. emily says:

i don’t know why anyone would aspire to be michael flatley. period.

    • Hell Hath No Fury says:

Um, any guy that can wear tights and clog dance and still be surrounded and worshipped by 30 or so hot chicks with tight bodies is better than any guy who just thinks he’s cool and gets none.

  5. Jessica says:

Should that be BAC? It took me a hot second to understand what “amount of alcohol” meant… or maybe I’m just slow. Or maybe I’ve had .25 alcohols?

    • Somebuddy says:

      Yep, units fail.

Without listing the unit, there’s no telling if this is supposed to mean BAC or gallons/liters/etc. of alcohol consumed. Also, the graph itself could be much better.

  6. Yuval says:

I don’t like these charts with the funny non-scaley y-axes anymore. Methinks it’s been done.

  7. Faetal says:

    nemo saltat sobrius
    roughly translates to
    No one dances sober.

    it’s my life motto…

  8. Amazing says:

    Garden tool imitations? o_O?
    Mine don’t dance… or does this mean a “hoe-down” ?

  9. rach says:

this is sooo true for me

  10. RJ says:

The BAC portion is COMPLETELY off. Like, is you’re even standing at 0.25 then you should really be standing near a toilet or atleast curled into a ball.

  11. zack says:

there should be a listing on the Y-axis for “omg this is my SONG!!!” …i’m usually there after a few good shots.

  12. byaleboundw says:

is that number of drinks of BAL?

  13. C-money says:

    You’d be dead around .15

    • Kinoko says:

      Hardly.
.35 is potentially lethal, with .40 being the LD50.

Also I giggled at “Garden Tool Imitations”

  14. BringingSassyBack says:

I’ve found that this is especially true with middle aged women.
