Duct Tape ftw!!
would have been funnier if the graph was made out of duct tape
Duly noted.
And I hate to be the negative nancy here, but how is duct tape used to MAIL packages? Don’t you mean TAPE or SEAL packages? Further, people usually use PACKING tape for that, not duct tape.
If the green sliver was labeled “Taping Ducts” I think that would have been a win.
Actually duct tape doesnt meat building code requirements for HVAC use. kinda funny.
It doesn’t now, but it used to. That’s what it was originally created for after all.
Actually it was originally created for sealing ammunition cases in WWII and was applied to other military purposes before it was ever used on ducts. Some people even claim it was originally called “duck tape” for its waterproof qualities.
USPS won’t even take packages taped with duct tape. you need to use clear tape for some reason.
thats not true. I sent packages sealed with duct tape cross country and they had no problems with them whatsoever.
That, and you’ve got the Duck brand of duct tape.
(duct tapes kinoko to a tree)
All you need is duct tape, a ball point pen and a swiss army knife and you can make a bomb!

Even smaller sliver:
Fixing ducts.
I felt this was missing as well.
Thrided
Foruthed
Agreed.
What is included in “things that would normally not be fixed with duct tape”? Everything would be fixed with it. Here in Finland it is also known as Jeesusteippi (Jesus tape) because it has the power to fix everything and save you.
I concur. Everything is normally fixed with duct tape. What else would you fix it with?
Zip ties
Too easy to break…
Agreed – if it moves and isn’t supposed to, use duct tape. If it doesn’t move and should, use WD40. And that’s how you fix anything.
Haha! Jesus tape! I lol’d (pity I didn’t lol at the graph).
wrapping gifts/ arts& crafts projects need wedges.
and I agree with Amesy, fixing ducts…
(mostly adding these because it’s way funner to tape people to benches.
What about prom dresses and tuxes?
Hee hee.. I was going to say that too.. click da link ;D
Who uses duct tape for mailing packages?
My aunt does. I think she likes to hear me scream in fury as I attempt to kill the unopenable packages she sends me.
How many duct tape graphs are on this site? Can someone make a graph about that? Zero percent are funny.
“Zero percent are funny.”
And that simply can’t be fixed with more duct tape.
What about making mummies out of people with duct tape?
What about making a guitar out of duct tape?
What about making a computer out of duct tape?
I just have to point out that this person is taped to a tree not a wall.
Otherwise ok graph.
Haha, I noticed that too.
No one uses duct tape for mailing packages. That’s why we have packaging tape.
agreed, duct tape doen’t stick to cardboard all that well. Unless you need that package to be REALLLLLLY secure. Then big silver box for the confused.
I use tape to seal packages, and a postal service to mail them…
funny, but duct tape’s original use is for taping up ducts…..but whatever
Actually it wasn’t. It was created to seal ammunition cases in ww2.
I thought it was used to record ducks?
you’re such a quack
*laughs* We have this epic picture of my brother duct taped to a wall…He was wearing his cowboy hat, and it’s all askew and stuff…Ah, college…

Yeah, it’s packing tape. Duct tape isn’t clear…
duct tape is useful for:
• Taping someone’s mouth shut
• Taping people to trees, walls, etc.
• Ripping hair off of someone’s body while videotaping
…some of my favorite pranks ever…
i like the “Ripping hair off someone’s body while videotaping” idea
#1 use for duct tape:
GETTING RID OF WARTS
I thought it was ‘getting rid of boss’
oh well, I guess that’s what cutting torches and pliers are for.
my father died from a duct tape incident….i don’t wana talk about it
Um, if you don’t wanna talk about it…why mention it?
I have heard that duct tape can be used as a strapless bra. Can I get a confirmation on that?
Really slows down the romance in the bedroom, but damn if it aint supportive.
TOO MUCH! Probably?
.
I’d be frightened of sticking anything more sticky than masking tape to my boobs. Actually I did some minor damage with one of those peely stick on bras the other week.
Put it on, secure it by using a hair dryer on high heat, and then try removing it very quickly.
dont try that on your eyebrow… EVER!!
you actually tried that? wow…
Um, no giant section for ‘fixing ridiculous-looking body-kits on any Honda made between 1989 and 1999′?

Making indestructible wallets?
there was a dirty jobs episode where he found duct tape on an actual duct and he thought it was the coolest thing in the world.
I vaguely remember that, now that you mention it.
i would think that was cool 2.
duct tape fixes everything worth fixing.
And since everything is worth fixing, duct tape can fix everything.
ever duct tape someone upsidedown to a pole?
Fun times…
My grandson had a pair of floppy sandals that went capute..so duct tape to the rescue! He taped them securely and wore them the remainder of his college years. The talk of the crowd and his frugality pays off for him time and again. Besides he still had the comfort of his old shoes!!
