The truth is, whether you like it or not, marijuana is illegal and Michael Phelps has a lot to lose by smoking it! If he wants to risk his million dollar sponsorships by smoking pot in a public place, then he has to deal with the repercussions of getting caught. It’s not the end of the world that Michael Phelps smokes marijuana, but since he does have so much to lose it sure does make me question his judgment!

    • Homer says:

Could it be that some people are motivated by enjoying life, and not by money?

      • Noldor Fingolfin says:

I do think it’s kind of stupid that he decided to smoke up at a party where people had cameras. It just seems like setting yourself up. But the fact that he was smoking at all, I really don’t care, and I agree that most people who freak out about his impact on their teenagers, aren’t paying attention. Everyone knows someone who smokes pot, let’s not act like we just discovered it.

      • slaggingham says:

If you need marijuana to enjoy your life, you’ve already failed at it.

    • Jefoid says:

And why do I care whether an Olympic swimmer has poor judgment? I have yet to find a situation where I utilized his decision making skills. In fact, I don’t recall any time I had to depend on a former Olympian’s judgment. But hey, maybe I’m sheltered…

    • sally says:

      All sponsors stood by him,

      I guess I can’t blame Kellog’s-
they are mostly for the little ones…
      Wait… who makes Cap’n Crunch?
      O.k., Quaker. Nevermind.
      :)

    • Gustav says:

No, it actually shows poor judgment by his sponsors and the public for crucifying him for being normal. The fact remains is that Michael Phelps acted like anyone in their early ’20s. Hmm… I wonder why that is.

      • Columbo says:

Every person in their 20’s smokes pot? kk. I always enjoy the justification of illegal/deviant behavior as “everyone does it” its “normal”.

      • Matt Scheaffer says:

Yes over half of all people have tried it once. Its much safer than alchohol

        • Darksaber says:

          Source?
And since when did “over half” equal “anyone in their early 20s”?

Finally, nice logical fallacy. However, just because “over half” of all people have tried it, according to you, does not mean that it’s not against the law and bad as a result.

Or is it ok for me to commit a crime as long as I claim that over half of all people have committed that crime before me?

          • Susie says:

It is much safer than alcohol.

Research it. You’ll find plenty of evidence.

And just think… stoner vs. drunk… who’s more likely to have a sudden anger outbreak?

            Hmmmm…

Who’s more dangerous in a car?

If one person were to smoke joint after joint during a day, and another person had shot after shot during the day, who would die first?

Seems very logical to me which is the more dangerous drug.

Not to mention, when you smoke pot at night, you can still go to work in the morning and don’t have to call in sick because of a hangover.

So enjoy your drunkedness, Darksaber. Have fun with that one. By the way, I’m curious what you do for a living? Do you have a useful bachelor’s degree? How old are you? Personally, I’m 22 and have a BS in computer science, and I have a pretty kick ass job.

            • Columbo says:

…and yet you are clearly unable to formulate a rational argument. I which portion of Darksaber’s posts did he extol the virtues of alcohol over pot? I’m fairly certain you missed his point completely. Gratz on your bachelor’s degree. I’m 32 with a Masters and I doubt I’d draft you to play on my Scrabble team.

              • Meghan says:

You’re kinda an ass, huh? If you have to brag about a degree I think that moves you into the “douche” category. This graph rocks!

                • McFate says:

Susie was the one who wanted to start waving credentials around, and hers are pretty weak and irrelevant to the issue at hand. A CS degree makes you a medical expert?

                  • Susie says:

The point of “waving my credentials around” was to show you that it is definitely possible to smoke weed and still be successful…

And I was arguing that using marijuana is safer in the short term, not that alcohol is worse for you…

But actually, now that you bring it up, alcohol is indeed worse for you.

I’d go into it, but you won’t believe me, and you’ll likely call it propaganda.

                    • varuna says:

                      Susie WINS.

                    • Andrea says:

Susie, I was way agreeing with your earlier post, then you did indeed wave your credentials around. You never mentioned that you’ve smoked pot, only implied it later. The lack of explanation doesn’t help get a point across.

              • Susie says:

Or I’m just dismissing his stupid argument. But since you’re probably wondering now…

It’s dumb to follow the law just because it’s the law, just like it’s dumb to follow the masses just because it’s the masses. Use your own brain. What is actually right and what is actually wrong? It honestly scares me to think that there are people out there who are completely controlled by the law.

Having a law against something doesn’t mean that something is wrong.
And on the flip side, not having a law against something doesn’t mean that something is okay to do. I wish people would develop their own sense of morality rather than act a certain way just because they’re afraid of punishment.

And this is very cliche: “is it ok for me to commit a crime as long as I claim that over half of all people have committed that crime before me?” God, that one sounds familiar. I think I’ve heard that one before… only it was in this form: “Would you jump off a bridge if everyone else did?”

And I hate scrabble. Logic puzzles, chess, Monopoly, Texas Hold ‘em, Sudoku, etc.

                • Darksaber says:

So you’re dismissing my stupid argument by making an ad hominem attack on me? Sorry, but I don’t drink at all, so I don’t think I can enjoy drinking.
Also, as far as occupation, I’m a high school student. Pretty boring, but necessary.

                  • Anon says:

                    >High school student

Which sort of proves her point, ie. you don’t have the experience necessary to make a call like that and be taken seriously. No matter how hard you yell “I’M AN INDIVIDUAL” the fact remains that you’re still in your formative years (unless you flunked so many times that you’re also in your twenties now, which it is no purpose of this commenter’s to suggest) and that any opinions or beliefs you may have about the world are very strongly influenced by the environment in which you live. In this case, a very biased environment, unless you happen to live in Holland.

That said, the ad homs should have been avoided because the essential point here could have been made without the fallacies of “but he’s just acting like a normal 20-year old” and “it’s against the law so as a public figure he shouldn’t do it”. The essential point of which I am speaking was:

                    >It’s dumb to follow the law just because it’s the law, just like it’s dumb to follow the masses just because it’s the masses. Use your own brain.

Welcome to the information age, folks, where everyone is online 24/7/365.25 and nobody is responsible for their own actions anymore.

                    • Ari says:

It really pisses me off when people decide that high schoolers have no brains. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, there are SOME teenagers that make intelligent decisions, have opinions, have experience (to some degree), and don’t take crap from other people that believe it is necessary to shove their morales and ideas upon them.
Also – it’s pretty dumb to not follow the law because you shouldn’t follow the law just because it’s the law, since most laws, believe it or not, were created FOR A REASON. I dare you to find a law without a moral or otherwise important basis. C’mon, right now. Tell me. I DARE YOU.

                        google search “Dumb Laws”
It’s also against the law in WA to buy a mattress on a Sunday, Lollipops are banned… should I go on?

Did “smacking” a well intentioned, yet poorly informed teenager, make you feel better? To be honest I would have rather had one of these than some of the others I had when I taught High School.

                        • Faetal says:

                          she dared me…
who am I to turn down a dare?

                      • Nostawyn says:

Not trying to make you look dumb, just want to mention my favorite non-sensical law– In Atlanta, GA, it’s illegal to tie a giraffe to a light pole. Who on earth would have even thought to do that in the first place? *boggles*

                        • Brokenbong says:

who would actually have a giraffe though? from experience of living in GA i would not even doubt that that is indeed a law

                      • Susie says:

Of course every law was created “for a reason.” Whether that reason is logical is a totally different story.

We can all agree that none of us want to be murdered.
We can all agree that none of us want to be raped.
We can all agree that none of us want to be assaulted.
We can all agree that none of us want to be ripped off financially.
We can all agree that none of us want to be stolen from.

All of the laws related to the five points mentioned above protected one human being from being negatively affected by another.

What does a law against marijuana do? Seriously? It keeps a person from doing what he/she wants with his/her OWN BODY. I imagine that the point of these types of laws are protect people from themselves. If that’s the case, why not outlaw fast food restaurants? People die from heart attacks and heart disease every year from poor diets.

And how is smoking pot immoral, again?

Personally, I think that if we’re going to have laws against drugs, we sould have a law that states a person has to take an IQ test before reproducing. Stupid people have a much more negative effect on society than pot smokers… and yes, I realize that pot smokers and stupid people are not exclusive of each other.

                  • Susie says:

That all makes sense then. I was exactly the same way when I was in high school.

Stick to not doing drugs or drinking in high school. You’re more likely to be successful in the long run; however, don’t think that you won’t do any drinking before age 21 or that you’ll never try weed. It’s HIGHLY likely to happen. (and yes, I am well aware that you won’t believe that).

Part of the reason I’m so successful is because I waited to do all that until I was in college.

Work hard and party afterward instead of partying hard and then trying really hard at the last minute to not fail.

                    • spoon says:

i agree! i have no regrets about not getting tied up in that nonsense. drinking and smoking can be a serious distraction for a student of any age.
just because it’s illegal doesn’t make it morally wrong!

                • BJC says:

Ah, let’s dismiss that rational right now then. Just because there is a law against something does not, in fact, make it morally wrong. So what criterion should we apply?

If we use Immanual Kant’s law of universality we would say that smoking a joint is morally wrong because if the entire population did it would lead to decreased cognitive skills and lifespans. Therefore, we could definitively say that it is morally wrong to use Marijuana.

Maybe you’re more attracted to Aristotelian mechanics. I’m sorry but according to his Golden Mean (Nichomachean Ethics) the smoking of Marijuana is far to the left on the scale and doesn’t provied a balance either.

Shall I go into Augustine? Plato? Socrates would just ask you a bunch of questions and make you feel like an idiot so I wont worry about him. But what about James? Kierkegaard? Friege? Lewis? Hobbes? I’d be happy to discuss the moral systems of any with you. But please don’t use the logical fallacy that is in essence nothing more then the bandwagon approach to morality.

I like to pretend that there is more intelligence in the human race to do that. Otherwise you might as well call yourself a sheep and be done with it.

                • gucci says:

“It’s dumb to follow the law just because it’s the law, just like it’s dumb to follow the masses just because it’s the masses.”

Go right ahead and disobey laws, but be fully prepared to get in trouble for it. I’m not saying there aren’t plenty of laws out there that are ridiculous or pot shouldn’t be legal, but right now it is. You break the law, pay the consquences its how the game works.

Michael Phelps broke a law, now he’s paying the consequenes. Yeah, it’s stupid, yeah no one should care. But he got caught, so he’s gotta take responsibility.

                  • Susie2 says:

NO WAY! You mean the law isn’t just there?

For some reason you’ve developed this idea that I don’t realize there’s a consequence for breaking a law…

The reason pot is still illegal is because people follow the law just because it’s the law… in other words, they believe anything the government tells them and thus nothing changes like it should. Hence, “It’s dumb to follow the law just because it’s the law.”

                  • Susie2 says:

And let me also add that in my great state, marijuana is decriminalized.

                    *grin*

I hope my state leads the country in this fight against illogical marijuana laws.

          • Jmz says:

“Or is it ok for me to commit a crime as long as I claim that over half of all people have committed that crime before me?”

It is still illegal in New Orleans for a woman to operate a motor vehicle unless she is preceded 50 feet by a man waving a lantern. I may be wrong, but I’ll hazard the guess that EVERYONE in New Orleans has broken this outdated law. There are many other outdated laws all over this country, and marijuana laws are certainly among them.

Several states have decriminalized it, others have legalized it for medical purposes. The AMA has nearly cleared out the oldtimers who have been against its medical applications, so expect it to happen soon. FIFTEEN of the top 50 questions on President Obama’s website inquire as to the legalization of marijuana for medical purposes.

Side effects include paranoia (when legalized, I think this one will fade completely), euphoria (my favorite), horniness (another favorite when I’m dating another smoker), and a general desire to raid the fridge (oh, well – there goes my manly figure). Oh, yeah…I recently heard it can lead to winning a record number of Olympic gold medals.

It is laughable to believe, in this day and age, that pot is the “hallucinogenic, old lady robbing, leads to harder drugs” nightmare depicted in the films of the 1950s. And as long as it is controlled by the world’s drug cartels, the USA will have a very difficult time legalizing it. Sure, most people want to legalize and tax it, which would certainly help fill our coffers, but it isn’t simply a matter of getting people to believe it isn’t harmful. Or, at least not as harmful as alcohol; anyone with a television knows that already. It’s a matter of foreign policy and economics.

So, yes, it is okay for you to commit certain outdated crimes even if nobody has comitted it before you. I once coughed up some phlegm and had to spit it out on the sidewalk in the city where I live. There’s a law here against it, but I just felt like an outlaw that day.

        • slaggingham says:

“over half of all people have tried it once”

Which just goes to show that over half of all people are below average.

            Wow… that is…

            wow…

I guess the question now is, what are YOU smoking?

        • ewwee says:

That means the other half didn’t. I did, and my 22 year old daughter, the girl genius didn’t.

    • Rocko says:

Please identify one law that says SMOKING pot is illegal. I dare you.
      -
We have a RIGHT to get high if we choose, but the government has done everything to make that RIGHT illegal and restrict our personal freedoms.
      -
Every time you hear someone from the DEA explaining why marijuana is bad, they reference the drug cartels and the resultant street crime, WHICH EXISTS ONLY BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT CHOSE TO MAKE IT ILLEGAL. This makes me dizzy each and every time I think about it. It is the consequence of a failed prohibition. The only reason marijuana is bad is because it is illegal. Malum prohibitum.
      -
Granted, pot messes your head up. It instills apathy while destroying motivation. But doesn’t television do the same thing to a degree? The social damage of marijuana, in comparison, is paltry compared to what alcohol does to people, let alone the street crime that results from its prohibition. I think we as a nation need to choose between what we find less of a social burden, the consequences of legal marijuana (another outlet for apathy, recreation and poor health) or the consequences of illegal marijuana (Crime, more crime, swollen prison systems, crime and BILLIONS IN UNTAXED DOLLARS.) This last point stands out the strongest to me in that anyone can get behind this. The amount of money disappearing into the black market and fueling the violent infrastructure of the drug cartels can curtailed and redirected into our economy!
      -
But where does it end? Why not make cocaine and heroin legal? This becomes a slippery slope…
      -
      Just some thoughts…

      • Geez says:

In which official US document is the “right to get high” spelled out?

        • MaryJ says:

It’s in the bill of rights. Check it out. While on weed.

        • nicki says:

Did you know that at one time where I live it was illegal NOT to grow Hemp?
          USA baby
          1632 to mid `1700’s
‘Must grow’ hemp laws enacted in Connecticut and the Chesapeake Colonies.

          look it up.

      • Anon says:

        >Why not make cocaine and heroin legal? This becomes a slippery slope…

Well, aside from the fact that the slippery slope fallacy is precisely that- a fallacy- as one thing does not by unalterable definition lead to another…

There’s yet to be a death purely resulting from an overdose of pot and no other circumstances (like, for example, a moron who gets stoned out of his gourd and then tries to drive a car). Care to tally that against all the crackheads and smacktards who died purely as a result of overindulging? Not to mention that it’s been proven that pot is not chemically addictive- however due to all the stigmata it may be slightly more susceptible to psychological addiction. But is that the plant’s fault?

Good point about television, but it’s insufficiently motivated, which makes me think you didn’t arrive at that conclusion yourself, you just heard it and thought it sounded good and the evidence seems to agree (but correct me if I’m wrong). The jump right afterwards to the bad things about alcohol seems a little forced.

Anyway, key word in tricky phrase here, folks, MODERATION. A little weed every now and then is not gonna kill you, just like a little booze every now and then won’t kill you. This black-and-white attitude of most governments towards the plant is a relic from a past age and needs to be updated.

        • Rocko says:

TV just came to me so I wrote it down while trying to figure out what else people do to escape reality. The comparison admittedly needs work but seems to make sense. I also am just ranting on the interwebs and not spelling out a detailed essay, so gimme a break!
          -
Good arguments about the “hard” drugs. What keeps coming back to me is that the hard drugs will still create the crime that legal weed professes to eliminate, which makes the argument a little harder.
          -
MODERATION and EDUCATION. “this makes you make more comparisons and connections, makes colors seem brighter and generally makes you hungry while this makes your heart explode/stop working.”
          -
Maybe we’ll live to see such a day. Who knows.

Pot is a gateway drug. Once you’ve smoked enough of it your brain no longer gets that high from it. You and your brain then go looking for other sources for that high. To other drugs. More harmful drugs.

Um… my dad is 63, and has been smoking pot for who knows how long (I only found out my senior year in high school) and has never, ever turned to other drugs. He’s actually a pretty damn successful software engineer! Just because many people turn to more lethal drugs after smoking pot does not mean *all* people who smoke pot will turn to lethal drugs. Come to think of it, not many people who smoke pot turn to more lethal drugs- the media/government just want you to think that ;)

  5. paz says:

This graph FAILs because there’s a GOD in it.

    • papajon says:

No, God is the part of this graph that makes the most sense.

I am kinda a tool but I’d think people w/lives are actually people as well. Just saying. And I’m pretty sure Dolores Umbridge is a fictional character and I bet money she’s smoked ficitonal pot.

But hey, you’d think maybe Mr. Phelps could do commercials with that Chester Cheetos character. Seems like a good fit to me.

    • fjw says:

This graph is a FAIL because the “People who have never tried pot” circle doesn’t include anybody else. It’s saying that God, people who skipped their twenties, Delores, Archie, mums, dads, kettles and pots have all tried pot.

Or maybe this fail is supposed to be the joke.

  6. Haha! I love the random Dolores Umbridge reference.

  7. deathabl101 says:

ive never tried pot yet i have a life.

but for some reason im on ICHC

  8. Jesse says:

I wish I could give this a higher score than 5. OMG he’s a 20 year old who *whisper voice* smoked marijuana. God isn’t even mad at Phelps. Nice.

  9. steve says:

this chart should be in the fail blog.

  10. Fred Phelps says:

God Hates Michael Phelps because he won gold for a nation that tolerates homosexuality. Also because he’s an imposter who stole our last name. Thank god for marijuana!

    • Grumpy Curmudgeon says:

This comment is the funniest thing on GraphJam in months!

Move the whole of GraphJam to FailBlog?

  11. Nostawyn says:

I was getting ready to say “Not another stupid un-funny graph” and then I saw “Dolores Umbridge” and laughed my a** off.

  12. JC says:

According to this chart, not only do you have no life until you’ve tried pot. (Thats me, well into 30 with 3 kids and no life (apparently I skipped my 20’s also) But God Himself has no life.

    • abby says:

no, you read that wrong. you have no life if you care that phelps smoked pot.
get off your high horse, they weren’t insulting you.
also, god has as much of a life as delores umbridge.

      • Petrograd says:

No, he’s right… the “people who have never tried pot” and “people with lives” don’t intersect, so no “people with lives” qualify as “have never tried pot”.

I don’t mind god not having any life though, he could be seen as a non-living being, sort of like an undead or a ghost or something.

        • Matador says:

I could see God having an unlife. Besides, He most likely doesn’t experience life linearly, but all at once. Kinda like Dr Manhattan. So he wouldn’t really have a ‘life.’

    • fjw says:

No, JS is right. The chart’s a big ball of FAIL. It’s saying that the only people who have a life are a completely isolated group, and that everyone else including God has no life.

  13. Skippy says:

This is ridiculous. Smoking weed is a hobby, not a personality trait. It is sad to see someone that has trained so hard to succeed at his goals be put down in such a way.

  14. Empyrean Goddess says:

Was unfunny….Until I saw Dolores Umbridge xD

    Win.

  15. steroid says:

    I don’t hate Michael Phelps.
    -
    I have tried pot.
    -
    I don’t have a life.
    -
    I must be God.
    -
    Yep, this graph is accurate.

  16. eric says:

    mmmmmm bongs.

  17. Ari says:

I don’t hate him for using it… I’m just kinda disappointed that he would throw away his career and reputation and put one foot (or maybe both) on the road to sad addiction. I don’t hate him. I just lost some respect for him.

  18. person says:

    delores umbridge
    LAWL win!

  19. Daniel says:

GOD has no life…maybe ill meet him on runescape

    • i can haz a chezze burger lover says:

sorry danile, but most people LIE about their identies on runescape(whitch is actually a cool game :)

    • secret person you don"t know says:

The graph also says anyone with a life has smoked marjuana, and i havn’t. then again, if i had a life I wouldn’t be on graph jam would I?

  20. thunder bender says:

    Dolores Umbrigde win

  21. Jessica says:

Oh man, not only did this graph make me super happy, but the comments have been fabulously interesting.
Particularly the ones stating that following a law because it is a law is wrong. I’m pretty sure every ethics class and discussion I’ve had has said that unless a law is completely ethically reprehensible (e.g. Jim Crow laws), that one must follow laws to remain a decent human being and keep an ordered society.

For the record, I’m for legalizing pot and prostitution, but I think that only an idiot breaks the laws in place at the moment. Particularly if that idiot is really famous and can pretty much guarantee that people will take pictures of him, and they will post those pictures everywhere.

As an above poster said, though, I don’t think my life will ever depend on the judgment of an Olympian athlete.

  22. dustbunni says:

Personally, I’ve never tried pot or any other drugs, and I’ve only drunk a little bit (I go for months at a time without having anything, then might have one or two beers on a weekend). I am 21 and going to school. I have tons of hobbies (writing, piano, drawing, friends) and I find that having my senses impaired by anything actually annoys me, hence the reason I tend to avoid drinking. I’m most creative when my mind is clear.

    Anyone else share this attitude?

    • :O O face says:

      I’m a student at a university and I don’t smoke pot.

My friends who smoke pot have relatively low gpa’s
My friends who don’t smoke pot have relatively high gpa’s

      coincidence?

      • MLD says:

        Correlation fail:
I know people with low GPAs that don’t smoke, and I know people who do smoke pot that make Dean’s list EVERY term.

    • Jessica says:

I definitely share this attitude. Of course, I also take antidepressants, so it isn’t that I’m against all chemical alteration of my brain. I just prefer the chemical alteration to bring my brain into normal function, not abnormal function. I don’t like anything that makes it harder for me to think like me. I’m a generally creative and gregarious person, and I like my inhibitions where they are. I mean, if I want to go out and dance, I will. If I don’t want to, there is usually a reason, and taking something that will make me less inhibited about it usually means I regret the action later. Plus, my parents did drugs, and my father (who did the most, by far) has a really hard time remembering anything now. I mean, he’s still intelligent (though less educated than I am), but his short term memory is shot. I do not need that sort of thing. Also, family history of addictive behavior means that I’m about 5 times as likely to become addicted to just about anything. My caffeine addiction is pretty manageable, but I’d like to not develop any more addictions.

  23. mischiefmanaged says:

lol @ delores umbridge. i almost fell of my chair.

  24. Gilder says:

I’m really glad that section that says “never tried pot” extends outside the bubble or i wouldn’t be represented. i mean who cares? it’s not like it’s a performance enhancer in the least, if anything they should give him a second “well done! you did something constructive and didn’t just sit around talking about how stoned you are” medal.

    • aintaintaword says:

I’m in that category too. Never tried the stuff, but I don’t judge those that do/have smoked weed. The only reason I’ve not tried it is because it’s illegal and my company does random drug tests, and to me it’s just not worth it. Now, if it were legal (which I support), I can’t say I wouldn’t try it. I think I can say I almost definitely would try it.

As for Phelps, I think it was dumb to do such a career-affecting thing when there are going to be cameras around, but aside from that – who frikkin cares?? I know I sure don’t.

    • Faetal says:

Really, I think if a person wins 8 gold medals and smokes pot they ought to get ANOTHER medal…
Pot’s not a performance enhancer, if anything it made Phelps mortal, giving the other olympic swimmers a sliver of a chance.

  25. Leslie says:

    You are all faaaags! STFU.

  26. Hannah says:

I don’t get why everyone focus’ on famous people who are smoking weed and are all like “they’re a bad influence! What if a kid see’s this? You should ban them, kill them, arrest them, etc.”
    Okay,

    1. Kids aren’t stupid ( well for the most part ) do you really think they care if someone’s smoking weed and will go ” oh look he smokes weed that means I can too”. Seriously? Sometimes I think adults are living in this weird bubble where they’re fed misleading information.

    2. Why don’t they take a look at the teenagers that are smoking weed in their own neighbourhood? Everyone knows they’re there but don’t do anything to try and stop it. Instead the focus on the famous people who have done bad things. Try and help them for goodness sake’s! My school is messed, people from grades 8 – 12 smoke cigarettes and weed, it’s disgusting!

On seperate notes lol @ dolores umbridge and what does Kelloggs have to do with sports? Isn’t that stuff loaded with sugar?

  27. Marcos says:

    La mera veldá mira shico!

  28. D.R. says:

You know, I’ve never met people more whiny and self-righteous than people who are into pot. It’s as if they’re bitchy at people who don’t… and most people don’t. I thought pot was supposed to make you calm down. Instead, in this graph, potheads are the ones who are so defensive. And you know full well that none of you are ever going to be on the Olympic team for *anything.*

  29. VeggyZ says:

Man I definitely think people should leave phelps alone. So he smoked pot? Big deal. I HATED him for being some athletic superman. Until I realized he was just a regular cool young guy. He should get another medal for being a pot head AND STILL winning so much in the olympics.

    • i can haz a chezze burger lover says:

MICHCLE PHELPS PRAISE STAUS: FAIL,FAIL FAIL,FAIL,FAIL FAIL FAIL,FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL,FAIL.

P.S is veggyz short for vegeta? i know a lot about dragon ball z.

  30. sally says:

Lots of professional folk smoke weed.
Who do you think buys $500 Chong bongs?
    :)

I am a medical type person, and can vouch that no one has
    ever did from smoking pot!
Coke, for sure. Heroin, yes. Alcohol- oh yeah.
Cigarettes- something like 400,000 Americans per year.

Yeah, sure, he’s the perfect example of what a loser
    smoking pot makes you.
    See how little he accomplished?
    Wait…
    !

  31. awdwannabe says:

i fall into the “people who have never tried it” group OUTSIDE of the people that care circle, thanks for getting that accurately :)

  32. airportmonkey says:

It sad, because this so full of lulz, but it’s not right for a venn diagram =[ aw well, teh lulz out number it by 897659870 to 1

  33. that guy says:

So…Dolores Umbridge AND God have both tried pot? Nice =D

  34. dolt says:

so pots, kettles, mums who let tv raise their kids, dads who scream at little learge games, people who skipped their 20’s, dolores umbridge, god, archie bunker and everone with a life has smoked pot?

  35. Yer mom says:

So true. Dads have *nothing* to do with raising children, after all.

  36. emily says:

I don’t hate Micheal Phelps for the leaked photo….It made everyone else STFU and stop making ‘fastest sperm in the west’ jokes.

  37. !!! says:

I appreciate the portion of the “people who have never tried pot” circle outside of the “cares” cirlce

  38. V. says:

    Delores Umbridge….Bwa-ha-ahaaa-ha-ha-ha!!

    *falls off chair*

  39. Bob says:

While reading this graph, I instantly got high.

  40. JM says:

I can’t even describe just how amazing a graph this is! Not many get this amazing, really. Every part completes it, but I especially like the pots & kettles and Dolores Umbridge. And of course outside the circle are people with lives and God! Yes!

SUCH a good chart! :D One of the best I’ve seen on here!

  41. Anonymous says:

I have never smoked pot, never will. I also have no life and am not God. However, the bong photo does not make me hate Phelps at all. Guess that makes me the green sliver.

  42. Honoke says:

I really like how God has smoked pot. He’s not in the never smoked pot group, so I guess he has.

  43. SR says:

    best graph ever!

  44. chyschumake says:
