I have officially been kicked out of the house for failing to wash 5 dishes… true story. I had better things to do, like visit my elderly grandmother and go to work, they were unclean for less than 36 hours before being the cause of my demise.

yepp… I saw this graph and first thought that one of my roommates submitted it because of me. Just this morning, I washed a sink full of dishes (except for the knives & forks… I hate washing knives or forks) because I needed a bowl & spoon for cereal. This graph might also work well generalized as “Reasons to clean your place,” since tonight and tomorrow morning I’m going to be cleaning the house (which I don’t think I’ve done since January) because I’m having a few friends over tomorrow night.

I’m not all that much of a slob! I just don’t feel the need to impress myself

Yep. that’s pretty much how it goes. Sometimes you’re told the WAY in which you’ll die should you fail to do them, but pretty much it’s death or dish.

The wise ones choose the dish… some have not been so wise.

To elaborate on the first post, you forgot the “was threatened with death (by roommate/parent) if you failed to do them.” That’s the most common way dishes get done in my apartment.
