As a math grad and Venn lover, I must disagree with the English teacher. I do this not because I have anything against English teachers, but because Venn diagrams don’t have to be “sized to fit” the data anyway.
The important things are: Do the sets intersect? If so, does one contain the other? If there is a third set, does it intersect properly with the first two according to the previous rules?

The reason why people like Japanese stuff is because a lot of it really is better than American.
Look at cartoons in America if your an adult. Your choices run along the lines of
Family Guy, South Park, The Simpsons. I mean, yes you have things that are good like Boondox, but in all– American cartoons f’ing suck. Even our Superheros suck. Now, look at Japanese cartoons. They actually have cartoons that appeal to mature audienences and aren’t afraid to skimp on the plot, like Death Note and Witch Hunter. Even American Drama is ridiculous. So much of it is… poorly acted. I don’t defend the Japanese for being perverted, thats disgusting. But compare any American super hero comic to a Japanese manga, and you’ll see just how much better it is.
