The fun part is when I’m eating something that I know the cat won’t actually want, like carrots or something, and they look up at me like they want some. I’m like fine, I break off a small piece and give it to them, they sniff it for a moment and lose interest, then go right back to staring at me like they want the part I’ve gone back to eating. It’s like they don’t understand that I can want to eat something they don’t.

And every cat I’ve owned has done this at some point.

My cat is obsessed with a dancing & singing hamster I got for V-Day. It’s dressed up like a 50’s greaser. She sniffs, bites, chews, grooms, and cuddles with it. From the pompadour hair-do to the leather jacket….She is in LOVE.

Whenever i pet them with my right, they try to make me pet em with my left, and vice-versa. And 2 of my cats always seem to be ADD and running around biting socks, and occasionally, stealing them lol

I had two Siamese with my ex, and now I have a tabby.

My seal point played fetch with my hairties.

The blue point played fetch with his broken collar.

And my tabby plays fetch with balls of paper. She hears paper and comes running.

I smartened up with her though, and didn’t buy her any toys.

Yeah, I hear that. Spend a fortune on cat toys, and watch your cat ignore them in favor of paper bags, plastic milk jug rings, those twist tie thingys from bread, the cellophane off packs of cigs, and any other random garbage they happen to find. Cats….

Random junk on the floor is WAY higher with my cat. She has about three mice, three balls (one of which jingles!) and a mouse that squeaks when she hits it.
