Where I always blow it is tilting the guitar to try to activate Star Power.

50 note streak pops up text above the board that wiggles there for a few seconds and draws your attention away from what you’re doing, where upon you miss notes and mess up. I’d say that would make it a subset of “I was distracted”, thus this should be a Venn diagram.
Trying to do star power by palming the select button and instead accidentally pausing the game gets me a whole bunch also. And the irony of that is I go for select to prevent from the missing incurred while trying the tilt method…sigh..

99% – i have terrible hand-eye coordination
1% – finger cramp
So. true. it. hurts.
Reasons I mess up – I suck
Reasons my husband screws up – hand cramps, pausing the game, battery dying in cordless guitar, children covering screen with their hands, wife trying to talk to him, cell phone ringing…
I could go on, but I don’t think I need to

and the parts i just plain suck at
i can get a perfect streak on one up until the darkness riff, but at least i finish the song (on expert)
but i cant do raining blood on expert
i learned to ignore the streak message though
and since i have big hands *giggle* i can leave my thumb and index on the strum bar, and have my pinky *giggle* on the select button

Yeah, I was playing GH:WT playing What I’ve Done Expert Bass (Easy song for expert bass) and I missed JUST ONE NOTE!

My husband usually says something along the lines of, “The controller messed up”, “I strummed that note but the guitar didn’t register it”, “The HD TV messes with the resolution of the game”, but of course it’s never just because he simply messed up.
Me, I just suck at GH.
