. . . judging by your argument, you too assumed that they meant “buy one get one free”. so if people knew what the person meant to say, it’s not really an issue, is it?
and if that weren’t enough, the whole “sale” part that came after it could probably translate to the above assumption.

When is there a BOGO on milk? Its controlled by state minimum pricing most places.
Technically everything is on a buy 1 get 1 sale. If you buy one, you get that one. Now a buy one get one FREE sale is different
Not here. I think the only things we have state minimum pricing on here in Ohio are tobacco products and booze, and possibly some over-the-counter medications (I’m not certain on that one). Our milk seems to be a different price just about every week, although I hardly ever see a BOGO sale on it. It’s half price occasionally, and sometimes you can get it free if you buy cereal or something, but I can’t remember the last time it was buy 1 get 1 free.
