Hilarity.
oodles of it.
Toodles love it!
poodles covet?
And THAT is what we call a poodle noodle beetle bottle battle waddle Fox in Sox, sir.
WIN! very nice. kudos on that one
Doodle, poodle, caboodle, Moodle…
oh, and strudel
Strudel’s my favorite!!! It’s yuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmy!
I actually really, really like this one, for some reason. WIN.
It’s a good Idea, but needs to be in bar graph form I think.
NO. Venn Diagram WIN.
No, madame, you are incorrect. As a venn diagram, this concept fails. Unless the segments were overlapping a different way. Dr. Seuss used made up words all the time, so he does not encompass the dictionary. I could see it if it went : Dictionary+Drunk guy, and the overlap = Dr. Seuss. But in it’s current form, this graph is inaccurate.
I’m afraid you’re mistaken. Dr. Seuss does NOT think that the words according to the dictionary don’t rhyme with noodle. His circle is bigger because he thinks those words rhyme with noodle as well as those he invented. Please grasp the concept of a Venn diagram before posting.
Nice, but it might be a little more complimentary to the good Doctor if the drunk area weren’t entirely contained within the Seuss area. I dunno. Just a thought.
I agree. Definitely should be a bar graph. Especially since neither Dr. Seuss nor a drunk guy are the dictionary.
ugh. actually… good point.
still hillarious though…
Needs one more circle encompassing all of them labeled “Rap Artists”. They can make anything rhyme with anything by pronouncing it poorly.
Amen. If I hafta hear “hair” pronounced “hur” ONE MORE F***ING TIME…
and by “rap artists” you mean… eminem.
Nelly comes to mind.
I think Eminem actually does impressive rhyme and near-rhyme…even internally. But it could be that I’m drunk. Or Dr. Seuss.
If the graph is titled “number of words…”, doesn’t it need numbers?
Good call!
i’ve grown to hate these kinds of charts now
this could’ve been better in bar form -_-
But wait! I posit that it would only convey information better in a bar graph.
Concentric blue-tinted circles, however, are about as Seussical as one can get.
Wrong. The dictionary does not tell you what words rhyme with what, only how to spell them, their part of speech, pronunciation, origin, and definition.
Rhyming dictionaries
The author of this graph should’ve specified this then.
calm down mate
Unless of course he was refering to words that are actually in the dictionary as opposed to the made up ones in the other two groups. But that would be reading into this graph way too much.
0.o yes. that WOULD be reading into this graph way too much…
I like this graph. It made me laugh. Made my day go faster, in fact, cut it in half.
you should use a folium of descartes graph!!
Why on earth isn’t this a bar graph?
