I agree with you very strongly. Unfortunately, people do have to “admit” to being gay, because our society views it as something wrong, dirty, sinful, etc. =/ Human sexuality is a beautiful thing, and should be treated as such.

I think it’s a slight commentary on societal values, more than saying it’s a bad thing. Gay has a negative connotation without pertaining specifically to homosexuality. It’s quite often that people use the term “gay” as synonymous with “stupid,” without any real thought to the usage of the word.
I personally use the expression “That’s queer” on a fairly regular basis. However, when I say it, I intend it as “That’s odd/strange.” But I digress.
I agree with SteelSkin. I have a youtube account and people call me gay for being a girl and showing a walk through of Gears of War the video game! I AM NOT GAY!! I am just not a girly-girl and I am NOT goth! I also don’t like Viva Pinata…

Hahahaha, Xbox Live should be the biggest. There was this one kid, he was like Wow you’re voice is deep, is it cause you take it up the ass all day? And me and my mate put together this well structured argument and hes like swearing his head off in his high voice and then hes like “You must be sooo gay, sticking up for eachother” it was hell funny haha
Personally, I think gay is the stupidest insult ever. Some of my best friends are actully gay, and they’re really great people to be around.
