At one point, I listed to a girl in one of my English classes explain a point about a particular poem we read. I stopped counting the "likes" at 15. Because of those experiences, I now count the number of times ANYONE uses the word improperly with a resounding cringe. If you're asking, yes, I count myself too. (hey, no one's perfect). (Realizes I'm as nerdy as Not Me, and slinks off to join him to discuss root words...) While in college, I was forced to listen to countless presentations where “like” was the chosen filler.
