When I worked fast food **shudder** people would always start showing up just after I started or finished cleaning all the equipment.
Ah yes, yet another inappropriate use of the line graph…
With all of the overuse and inappropriate use of pie charts, one that actually should have been, isn’t.

Percentages in pie charts must add up to 1, not be individual or open probabilites.
I’m sorry I usually try not to flame , but I really can’t help it this time. When you get down to it IT’S JUST A DAMN GRAPH!. It’s supposed to be funny, not mathematically perfect!
Bar graph probably fits best.

So according to this graph you’ve NEVER gotten ANY customers while you’re bored and you’ve NEVER hit the end of your shift and NOT had a customer? Well then either you’ve never been bored at the end of your shift or there is a big contradiction here.
And if you had a customer you wouldn’t be bored or doing nothing now would you?
Not a fail! This shouldn’t be a pie chart, as the probability of people coming in need not add to one. Also, labels along the x-axis show a passage of time, rather than individual variables, so it makes more sense for this to be a line graph than a bar graph.
