    Looks like divorce time.

  2. TehShay says:

Meh, as long as you’re okay with being an asshole, the relationship is healthy.

    In my opinion, that is.

Thank you for breaking the string of pie charts.

  3. Ibbits says:

    It’s true, though. …seriously.

    Did my husband submit this?

  4. Ibbits says:

…but the “I am right” circle should definitely be smaller.

    • Grandevil says:

      LMAO yes it should!

      • Shredster7 says:

there should also be a subcircle in the U R WRONG Circle saying:
“Im Actually Right But She Wont Allow It”
        or more simply put:
        “She Lied”

heehee… so how many fail points did i get?

  5. Stoneangel says:

I’d make one correction. The ‘I am right’ set should be totally inside the ‘I am wrong’ set. Men even if for some strange reason you are right, if you are smart you’ll admit defeat and apologize.

    • TehShay says:

Yes. Because in most cases, even if you are right, chances are the woman will continue to talk until you are convinced you are wrong. We have that power.

  6. beancounter says:

In order to earn myself a “Venn diagram understanding – FAIL” I would like to ask for an example for the wrong-right-overlap.

You are right, but you just made a huge mistake, buster?
Trousers make my ass LOOK fat, but they don’t make it look FAT?

    Ibbits? TehShay? Anyone???
    *tumbleweed passes by*

    • Kian says:

I think it’s supposed to show that women, not bound by the rules of logic or historical precedent, can argue whatever the hell position they want and you have to be wrong unless her mother agrees.

      goddamnit. so much.

    • Xyz says:

If you don’t understand it, then I hope your luck continues to hold out :)

    • Ibbits says:

K, so, in addition to “I am right” needing to be smaller, its overlap with “I am wrong” should be more of a, uhm, kiss than an actual overlap.

See, while husbands may be marginally “right” on something, it’s usually superficial – or kind of a ‘narrow spectrum’ right. This, of course, makes him ENTIRELY wrong on the broad spectrum of, well, everything.

I could go into this deeper, but it would be giving away the answers to realities women have worked for millenniums to fully hone and understand. I’d lose my girl license.

    • Tickle-torturedSoul says:

The right/wrong overlap is pretty easy to spot. A good example is the true statement that’s wrong to say anywhere other than in your own head. For instance, the girlfriend/wife has a totally hot sister. While this may be true, saying so in front of the girlfriend/wife is, more often than not, A Very Bad Idea.

Unless sleeping on the couch/floor/lawn is something you’re into. ;)

    • Tehshay says:

According to my husband, I am not fat, so there is no way any clothes could make me look fat.

Marry ‘em young, girls. Cougars of the world unite!

  7. Johan Sven says:

I approve of this Me Diagram.

  8. Snippy says:

    Chart is accurate!

most men are just fail…. so I approve!

  9. faetal says:

Am I the only one who read it in sequence of smallest (i am right) circle to largest (I am an asshole) circle… and then immediatly followed it with an
“ee-o-lee-oh” ala Dennis Leary’s “I’m an Asshole” song?

  10. PistolPete says:

    Your wife´s horrible, dude.

  11. rubes says:

    Best. Graph. Ever.

  12. correction says:

contradiction fail wrong and right at the same time

    • Mel says:

It means that even when you’re right, you’re wrong. I gotta say, this is not the domain of men only, my husband has been know to bust that one out on occasion when he’s feeling obstreperous.

      • Ibbits says:

My uncle has made a science out of it. It was funny for the first 35 years of his marriage to my aunt, but now it’s better all around just to turn up the volume on the television.

    • PC-Man says:

      That’s the joke.

  13. Simon says:

It’s all part of their plan:

    1) First demand “equality?
    2) when everybody excepts, carve out special exceptions for women.
    3) Demand those exceptions in the name of equality.
    4) Manipulate debate so that women can exploit their nature as driven by evolution, but men are not allowed to act in accordance with their nature.
    5) Claim an exclusive right to “know what’s best for “US”.
    6) Redefine US=the woman.

  14. Simon says:

    Women:

    When wrong: change the subject.
When right: relentlessly push on until a man concedes.

Masters at changing the issues of the conversation when it suits them. Despising men (see comments above). Self-righteous, self-serving and fundamentally unable to accept a man as their equal. But always demand equality when it suits them.

  15. ncfriend says:

Bhahahahah! I have a new desktop wallpaper! Hope hubby likes it ;-)

  16. Steve says:

How can you be both right and wrong at the same time?

  17. Pirate Jkickass says:

    EPIC FAILFTW

  18. buttercup says:

um how are the I am right and the I am wrong circles overlapping? How does that work???
