    So true…

  2. Stew says:

Mmm…Ironic, my favourite flavour of pie chart….

  3. yossi says:

I saw this one on my RSS reader and came to the website with a comment in mind: “So true…”. But someone else just left this message. So I second TheGremp.

  4. Not_you says:

    a graph about graphs… a meta-graph… LOVE IT. brilliant.

  5. Guess Again says:

    hmmm…pie chart irony noted…

  6. Jujube says:

Thanks for posting our thoughts in a clever form, TheGrimp. Fun With Charts used to be quite clever but seems to be taken over by dolts lately who can’t make more than stupid pie charts. Hope this will raise the bar again.

    • Carolyn says:

Agreed. Is there no moderation? There really should be someone weeding through the junk to filter out the good stuff from the bad. Or, if there is, maybe they should let less of the same-old-same-old through? Just a thought.

      Still Loves GraphJam,
      Carolyn

    • Anthony says:

      “Raise the Bar.”
      I get it.

    • h4xx0r says:

I’m wondering if “raising the bar” is a purposeful pun intended to reinvigorate the use of bar graphs. Or was it just accidental. Either way, Cheers!

  7. zing says:

Its the problem with the builder thing, it means its too easy for any idiot to make some second rate rubbish whereas 90% of the good graphs on here couldn’t be made with it.

    • tristara says:

Agreed. I wish they had not put in the builder, as now people with no knowledge of graphs can make them and post them. :(
      no knowledge = stupid graphs

      • n8 says:

When you’re in the user-generated content business, you want to make it easy for more users to generate content. That’s the theory, anyway…

  8. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH says:

  10. J says:

Which category does this graph fall into? uhhhhhhh…….

  11. Steve Dennie says:

I was getting ready to craft a chart saying the exact thing. You did it better than I would have. These charts do get monotonous.

  12. mr_angry says:

  13. miss.nessa says:

  14. McSquash says:

    recursive graphs about graphs

  15. LibrarianJessica says:

Ditto to everything already said. Man, I haven’t even bothered to vote for most of them.

  16. Crazy says:

…You all fail miserably. Something is usually considered ironic if it is uncannily coincidental. This isn’t ironic at all, it’s TRUE.

    • Crazy says:

Or, rather, it would be ironic if the poster clearly created it in this fashion (big/little slices) accidentally. It’s blatantly intentional as part of the joke. It’s more hypocritical if anything.

    • Christine says:

Actually, coincidences have nothing to do with irony. Irony is when the opposite of the expected occurs. So this kind of fits, seeing as how it seems the creator was fed up with the circle graphs described one would expect them to not use such a graph to depict their frustration.
