    That chart looks like boobs.

    Oh, and FIRST

  2. Lolnathan says:

When will someone get these things right? The amount of overlap is irrelevant, these diagrams are relational and do not represent a specific unit or number. Making the overlap super tiny doesn’t make the group smaller, since these diagrams so not specify any number of range of numbers.

    Anyway, rant off.

    • Charlie says:

You know, your rant is the only reference to the size of the overlap section. The graph in no way implies that that portion is small on purpose. Maybe that’s just the way it was drawn.

      Presumption fail.

    • AxelTheDragon says:

Why must people ruin the fun? I mean, who cares if we don’t use them right, as long as you get the point? >_>

    • brinnann says:

It seems relevant to me if viewed by proportion, not actual figures.

    • Sige says:

But since we’re not technically creating a list here, the size of the overlap should be the best indicator of proportion, don’t you think?

    • Sesoron says:

It would be funnier and probably more accurate if the “Women Attracted to Me” circle were extremely tiny compared to the “Women I’m Attracted to” one. On the other hand, it would be accurate if there were a third circle indicating “Women I’ve Met”, and there were a categorical syllogism to go along with it. E.g.:

All women I’m attracted to are women I’ve met.
No women attracted to me are women I’ve met.
Therefore, no women I’m attracted to are women attracted to me.

According to a Boolean interpretation, it’s not necessary that there are any women attracted to me, though according to Aristotle, there must be at least one.

Logic jokes! Heavy on the logic, light on the joke!

  3. Darawnal says:

    How true

  4. brinnann says:

Replace “Women” with “Men” and that is totally me.

    • copernilleo says:

So, instead of the answer lying in the cleavage, it lies…elsewhere!

    • Jenessa says:

ditto! This graph spoke to me haha

    • Scot Z says:

Maybe they should have just said “people of the opposite sex” instead of “women” or “men.” Granted, that wording does exclude gays, but…
      .
Anyway, best submission I’ve seen here in quite a while.

      • Matt says:

Alternatvely, you could go with “people” – members of the wrong sex for a given romantic’s inclinations would just fall into the category of “people attracted to me” but outside of the category of “people I’m attracted to” (this diagram ignores mutual *lack* of attraction).

  5. Chels says:

    oh, and *sad face*

sorry attractive women aren’t attracted to you.

  6. Bill says:

small typo the word women should be the singular woman

  7. Miranda says:

The guys I know like this have way too high standards… Like they’re the McLovin guy from SuperBad chasing Megan Fox.

  8. vervain says:

So very true, and so very frustrating. I always seem to attract either interesting but unattractive people, or attractive people that are completely boring. *sigh*

    • vervain says:

And the ones that are both interesting AND attractive are either married, or not attracted to me. *doublesigh*

  9. Dylan H says:

Would it be crass to point out that this diagram looks like boobs?

  10. braveman7 says:

If we would educate our selves to gender differences we mite get along better. Abandoning Gender Competition for Companionship.
    Abandoning Independence for Dependency.
    Abandoning Liberation for Obligation.
    Abandoning Privacy for Intimacy.
Abandoning Role Equality for Special consideration.

  11. Dean says:

My left one is far bigger than my right one sadly. I’m mismatched. lol

  12. Adam says:

Never has a more accurate graph been shown – story of my life!

  13. Anna says:

    It’d be the story of my life if it were men instead of women -_-;
