  2. Matt says:

  3. Matt says:

    never first =(

  4. MEH. says:

LOL pretty true. I’m sure *NOBODY* figures that is nervous-ness and would totally restore belief in the economy with such a maverick in office! /sarcasm

  5. stencer says:

it’s all I could watch during the debate! srsly

  6. Rinny says:

Totally true!! When watching the debate I just kept thinking “dude, is he trying to freak Obama into slipping up??”

    • Slashydutchie says:

Well, yeah… just like the previous one when he kept trying to sneak up on him from behind. Or whatever reason he had for roaming the outer edges of the stage…

  7. taylor says:

People tend to blink a lot when they lie.

    Just sayin’.

    • sgk says:

No they tend to do different things from the usual when they lie.
If people blink a lot normally, them not blinking much or at all would be a sign of a lie.
If they have a hard time making eye contact normally, when they stare at you or at least make eye contact would be the lie.

If McCain normally holds a steady gaze and doesn’t blink a lot, then yes, he was lying, otherwise no, he’s just freaky.

      • Intyalle says:

Unfortunately for those of us for whom eye contact does not come naturally, it does for most people so most people assumes it means we’re lying.

Thank god mum and dad had the sense to actually teach me stuff like keeping eye contact which has decreased the level of social issues I’ve had in life.

  8. Anonom says:

I noticed that too, just from watching clips of the debate.

  9. joe says:

I heard he was sending morse code.

  10. John McCain says:

Stop Picking On My Blinking Habit. For Goodness Sake.

    • Airigh says:

I wasn’t; I was only picking on your stupid choice of VP.

      • Sarah Palin says:

That’s it… Keep ridiculing me when you have done no actual research on my history… After all, who else would be appropriate?… Do you even know any government officials not on TV?… Little do you know that the back of your head has a nice crosshair on it…
        …Shine for me, Sweetness…

  11. BeastieJ says:

    Oh good. Some else noticed.

    THANK YOU!

  12. Moo says:

Lol, we were trying to count how many times he blinks per minute in Economics. We lost count around 120.

  13. triskaidekaphobia says:

DID IT EVER OCCUR TO YOU THAT HE MIGHT JUST HAVE DRY EYES?!?! Oh wait, I guess liberals can’t find anything else to criticize in conservatives except for slight physical malfunctions.

  14. holly says:

umm why is human heartrate at 0?

    • emily says:

it’s not, there’s a slight line because the next “step” on the y axis is 2000. the human heart rate is usually between 70 and 80 bpm, making the graph correct.
