  1. Osse says:

So What? She has a cute accent and folksy sayings, besides she we be surrounded by smart people….

When you think about it the McCain Palin ticket is a Russian reversal of the Bush Cheney ticket (gets scared)

  2. Tycobee says:

yeah, when you say North America, it’s because you actually include flying over Canada to get to continental USA….

    • Audheim says:

Maybe my geography is a little off since I’ve been in the UK for tree weeks, but last I checked Canada was still in North America.

  3. oakleyja says:

Reusability win!!! You could swap out Palin’s name for Obama’s and have an equally relevant chart. Nice work!!!

    • 216 says:

Nice try. Collect your head out of your ass and go to Foxnews.com.
      DUMBASS!

      • oakleyja says:

Nice try, I guess I have to speak on your level so you understand. Collect your head out of your ass and go back to school and learn how to read a time series bar, DUMBASS! The time line begins in 1987, before his presidential campaign, Obama’s overseas experience is limited to his childhood between 1967-1971 when he lived with his mother and step-father in Indonesia. Though it could be argued that childhood experiences abroad have relevance to his viability as a leader IT HAS NO RELEVANCE TO THIS CHART. Original comment stands, Reusability win!!!
On another topic, why are stupid people so vitriolic? I guess it must be really frustrating to want something really bad and not have the capacity to express why you feel that way. BTW I don’t watch Fox News, I don’t have cable. TV is for drones!

        • Don't let "facts" fool ya says:

Obama has traveled extensively in his capacity as a member of the Foreign Relations Committee and has visited Russia, Ukraine, and Azerbaijan in Asia; Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, and the Palestinian Territories in the Middle East; and Chad, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, and South Africa in Africa. Obama has also co-sponsored the “Lugar-Obama Act” with Republican Senator Richard Lugar who was Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations at the time. This act was a bi-partisan effort to increase U.S. security in terms of the elimination of conventional weapons and weapons of mass destruction. This legislation came out of Obama’s trip with Senator Richard Lugar to Russia, the Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

Obama has also sponsored legislation such as the “Democratic Republic of Congo Relief, Security, and Democracy Promotion Act” which was signed into law by President Bush on December 22, 2006. Obama has co-sponsored immigration related bills related to his service on the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee including the Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act. His extensive foreign policy experience exceeds that of every other Presidential candidate including his trips abroad in the performance of his official duties as a member of committees dealing with foreign relation issues.

          • oakleyja says:

So you are saying he’s not just words, just speeches? He likes taking vacations, long walks on Mediterranean beaches, African sunsets, and riveting chats over nonviable legislation with RINOs too. Sounds great, I sure hope that someday someone on the internet will be nice enough to pontificate on my equally short public record enough to fill a whole two paragraphs. Got to go, need to call, Bill Ayers maybe he can put me in charge of a foundation. I’m ready to get started!

          • Um says:

Sounds like an Obama campaign plant.

          • mightysamurai says:

            Whoop-dee-frikkin’-doo.

Members of Congress can “sponsor” any piece of legislation they want.

All it really means is they’re adding *their* name next to the person who actually did all the work in creating it.

Typical Obama. Claiming credit for someone else’s accomplishments. But I guess when you don’t have any of your own, that’s all you can do.

            • duh says:

He has also introduced and authored several bills and amendments including the honest and open government act. Does that not count either? Then what does? Because if being an original co-sponsor on bills and authoring bills and ammendments doesn’t count, then McCain has no record either (nor does any member of the house or senate). I mean, you can assume he did nothing or you can actually check the record. Seems you’ll be doing the first to keep a consistent view of the world that is completely false. That’s sad.

          • marvl says:

Damn, fella, if you believe all that tripe then I’ve got a beat up pickup with 150,000 miles on it that I’ll sell you for $500,000. Obama once sat in it and farted into the seat cushions. “Extensive foreign policy experience?” Are you from the planet Mongo, or are you high on some primo weed?

        • 216 says:

I said foxnew.COM. You obviously have a computer and you’re obviously on the wrong side of progress. Oh, by the way, you use “vitriolic” completely wrong. Did you just learn that word?

          • oakleyja says:

Wow, you spent 5 hours steaming over that one little post and all
you came up with was poor word choice. That’s sad. Define progress. Is that another one of those indefinite words like hope and change that people keeps getting excited about. No thanks, I’ll sit out on that one. I have to say you are right, I didn’t notice the “.com”, can’t say I’m anymore interested in their website than the TV channel.

            • 216 says:

Good for you. I have no problem when their thinking is wrong. It’s a problem when you just do and think what you’re told. If you’ve come up with the conclusion that the GOP is looking out for people more than the Dems…ok. You have every right in the world take it without Vaseline. But since you are a free thinker, look back in history and you’ll see that everytime there is a republican president, we get screwed.
By the way, I wasn’t steaming. I gave up on getting angry about people who think the way you do a long time ago. I just want to dominate and enslave your type so that you’ll know what it feels like to suffer because of someone else’s decisions. Now, that’s going to be a great day.
You have a lot to say though…that’s makes you 100 times better than someone with nothing to say. I’ll take a conservative with a true point of view over a clueless liberal any day.

              • oakleyja says:

I’m pretty sure neither party has a monopoly on screwing the public. There are plenty of examples on both sides and also plenty where they team up to screw us like in the recent bailout. I personally think we are best served when neither party controls both the legislative and executive branches. So since there isn’t much chance that the senate or house will shift the other direction any time soon, McCain will get my vote. Even though I tend to disagree with him more often than not; he is consistent, and I know where he stands whether I like it or not. I had the same impression from Hillary, but I can’t say so for Obama. He is often, too vague, and his positions shift regularly. While this is fine, and in most cases good for a senator, the president needs to be able to stay on message and provide direction. If he doesn’t calm down to a more concrete platform I’m concerned about the volume of impulsive legislation that may flow through a congress that is friendly to him. We have big problems and big debt today, we need calm leadership and I think he will be too friendly with the rubber stamp.

                • 216 says:

                  Code for: He’s a black guy…and I don’t like black guys.

                  • oakleyja says:

You racist, I am black. That is a disgraceful reason to vote for or
against anyone. Shame on you for lumping him in a category just because of his skin, he’s a person with his own ideas and beliefs just like anyone else. Sure there are a few idiots left that think that way but it’s jerks like you who perpertuate the race problems that exist in this country by classifying us and pointing fingers. Its sad, you held a decent argument before, now you are just a fool!

                    • 216 says:

No… a fool is anyone that would see the country falling apart, know why it is falling apart, watch their fellow citizens suffer and still want to perpetuate the same cycle. There is no way you could be a living, breathing, thinking individual and truly believe that McCain is the best choice at this time. You gotta be crazy. And you know that there is no excuse for an intelligent person to overlook what is obvious. You may like the GOP. But the GOP will only cause us more pain at this time. Black people can be racist against other blacks by the way.
Granted your reasoning may not be racially motivated. There is no reason for this race to be so close at this time and I’m pissed. So, for that, I apologize.
The real truth is…there are only three reason one would not vote for Obama in this climate. One is either extremely racist, extremely selfish or extremely unintelligent. I have gathered that you are intelligent. You say you’re not racist. So by default, you’re extremely selfish. Why are you selfish. Why do you not care that your fellow Americans suffer daily? How do you not see that we are all connected and that when one of us suffer, we all suffer.

                  • mightysamurai says:

Typical. Disagree with the Obamessiah, and you’re a racist.

                    Dissent will not be tolerated!

                    • No, just a liar says:

No, lie about someone’s record and you must have some motivation. If you simply don’t know that’s one thing, but to outright lie to slander the other guy that implies some hatred and intent. Maybe it’s not racist hatred, maybe it’s an unfounded hatred of liberals that you have been indoctrinated with or some hatred based on the fact that his name sounds different. I don’t pretend to know the irrational hatred that inspires people to degrade people and lie about their records. Else, why lie? Just don’t vote for someone if you disagree. You don’t need to spew hatred even if it’s not racially motivated.

    • Yoshi says:

lol, Obama spent part of his childhood growing up overseas.

  4. lucky says:

Maybe she can run out to Europe and make some speeches, now that she knows she is a candidate for VP.

  5. Not_you says:

who needs foreign policy experience when you have a great wink.

  6. 216 says:

    You Betcha!!!

  7. Smalls says:

How many of those countries can she see from her house?

  8. GT-AR says:

The year that the bar lies on is 2007, NOT 2008 like it should be.

    FAIL.

  9. What about Russia..apparently she has friends in Putin!

  10. Robert says:

Not sure what the point is…a lot of people spend their whole lives without leaving the US. That’s kinda sad, cuz it’s cool to get out and see other places, but it’s not some sort of glaring character flaw.

  11. Nonny says:

FYI, on Bush’s first trip to Europe, he went to Joe Biden for travel advice. Biden said, “Oh, how exciting. Your first trip to Europe as President?” to which Bush responded, “No, my first trip to Europe.” Apparently the Bushes only require annual trips to oil-producing nations.

  12. Tyler says:

I sincerely hope that the Republicans fail to get in again. Having insular, jesus freak worshippers again would totally annihilate America’s world standing.

The world pities the American racist, homophobic, obese idiots.

  13. Bobby says:

    EPIC FAIL

North America is a CONTINENT, not a COUNTRY!

    • Matador says:

However, North American does in fact contain countries.

    • RJ says:

Wow. I have never seen and epic fail of an epic fail with that many caps before.

Plain fail on actually reading the chart instead of reacting to it.

      I laugh quietly to myself.

      ILQTM?

      • Jack says:

“Bobby” is absolutely correct about the continent thing and apparently there were many people arguing about politics who were oblivious to this. He was the first person to aknowledge this and just because he said that doesn’t neccessarily mean that he didn’t give thought to the concept of the chart. Take more consideration next time even when it is obvious he doesn’t have anything better to mention.

  14. Dean says:

Anyone got a list how many U.S. states she’s been to?

  15. Eric B says:

I’ve been to Muslim nations and the people were very polite, but I still want to see mecca turned into a radioactive parking lot before I die. There are also plenty of people in the country who think we should do everything Europe does yet have never been there, either. Line of thinking is fail…

    • Alcari says:

Yeah, just as fail as thinking all of Europe has a single culture and opinion.

    • Tony says:

      Wow… there’s racism, and then there’s THAT.

    • yen says:

You want a holy place of worship to suffer from a nuclear attack? Sounds dangerously like Al-Qaeda to me…

    • tyler says:

uhmmm….. why do you want the polite people to die? why do you want a place where other people worship, and get joy from it, to be turned into a deadly toxic area? just because they have a different religious standpoint? guess we really haven’t evolved much from the crusades… i feel depressed after thinking about it like that :/

      • marvl says:

Tyler… go play in traffic. Or get your mommy to time you while you see if you can hold your breath for 10 minutes.

  16. flamekiller says:

What about Obama campaigning in Europe?

  17. marvl says:

This page, and all the comments, are pretty much a large steaming pile of dog crap. Sarah Palin has three times the IQ and experience of Obama and Biden combined. She is a beauty queen, compared to Obama’s ugly mate. The Democrats and the Media have tossed you idiots a worm and you’ve swallowed it, eyes closed, hook, line, sinker, rod, and reel.
