Last year, I started changing my facebook birthday to “Tomorrow” everyday since about a month before my birthday (e.g. Today = February 24th, Facebook says Birthday = February 25th, and so on for a month).
I got a lot of wall posts, many of them repeated posts from the same people wishing me happy birthday on different days. After a few weeks some people caught on and got confused. Much fun.

Honestly? This is the very reason I hide my birthday from my profile the week before, and put it back once it’s over. That way, only the people who -actually- know me are giving me birthday wishes.

Absolutely spot on. My birthday was on Saturday. The last time I’d gotten any substantial postings on my wall was exactly one year previously.

Everyone crawls out of the woodwork on your Birthday. If only they’d just stay there. I’d rather that over the fake lemming-like posts of “Happy Birthday”.
