  1. Yukito says:

I’ve seen this one before. Well done. There’s a similar one about text, too, if I can find it…

  2. Bosf says:

am i first and one which doesnt understand the joke here?

  3. BananaHead says:

WOW! Awesome, lol! Ttly worth clicking on!!!!

  4. signe says:

This isn’t really a LOLvideo and this is a LOLblog… This vid just reminded me of why I am suicidal.

  5. iambrowneyedgirl says:

This is nice. I think it just answered every question I ever had about life.

    • Dr. Dot says:

Nothing personal, but if this answers all of your questions about life, you really need to start questioning things around you. There’s a lot to be said about constructive cynicism.

  6. bunnyrut says:

i found it amusing, and true.

    • Onion says:

No it sucked… every observation was stolen and the narrator sucked too.

      • Hambone says:

Hard to call it stolen if you, I dunno, bothered to read the closing credits where they attribute the writing to Indexed.

        • Onion says:

I can’t appreciate this piece since none of the writing was done by the makers.
It’s irrelevant that they credited the people who really made the graphs.

          • Bloobeard says:

            You do better.

          • Sam says:

So according to your statement, anything that is not completely and entirely original is fail. Therefore, you FAIL by being a human (if indeed you are human).

On a lighter note, I can appreciate the effort that went into creating that video. WIN !

          • Hambone says:

So, crediting someone else’s work that you put to moving pictures and narrated is fail because it’s not 100% original, but coming to a macro site where people just republish already published pictures and put some words on it–that’s totally ok?

You draw a pretty crooked line through the grey area there, Hoss.

          • Vennie says:

Hmm. So do you also not appreciate books that are turned into movies since the producers didn’t write the book? Or jokes that people tell that they haven’t made up themselves?

Oh well. You’re entitled to your own opinion. I would be thrilled if I had written the text and some guy with a cool accent had read it during a graphilicous video.

          • SolnEsther says:

so by that reasoning you cannot appreciate an anthology of love poems because it was not compiled by the authors of those poems?

      • Natalie says:

Sounded a bit like a cross between Stephen Hawking and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

  7. roobarb pie says:

Wow… So poetic and eye-opening at the same time.

  8. Laura says:

    Pretty… cool, impressive, poetic.

  9. bri-la says:

    WHOA!!! That is awesome!! Kudos.

  10. aki_dreaming says:

    Excellent piece.

  11. Travis says:

    Crazy, random, Hilarious!
    I love it!

  12. Gyu says:

    fitter happier more productive
    comfortable
    not drinking too much
regular exercise at the gym (3 days a week)
getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries
    at ease
eating well (no more microwave dinners and saturated fats)…

  13. Wolfram says:

Wow, whoever made this was good.

    • Trystera says:

The person who REALLY made this, ultimately, was Jessica Hagy of Indexed. Whomever did this video just animated it and did narration.

  14. Taaroko says:

    Segue win!

  15. BrightEyes says:

    …my brain hurts…

    =)

  16. M.C. Square says:

    Uhhh…..Wow!

    fine work gentlemen
    (and ladies if there
    were ones involved)

  17. Miss Antipodes says:

    Really really loved this one.

Love it even more with a voiceover that sounds like Schwarzenegger!

  18. tim says:

    mmmmm Aphex Twin sample.

  19. Oscar the Mild says:

This was well put to together and the French voiceover dude added the perfect surreal tone.

So what if it is a montage
    “..even rocky had a montage . . ”

Still a fine piece of work nonetheless

  20. red.kitteh says:

Dude, it was like, the love child of Graphjam and some pretentious performance artist. Graphjam needs to be more careful drinking late at night with strange men in turtlenecks.

  21. MadAriad says:

    Beautiful!

  22. Aaron says:

That was great! Depressing at times, hilarious at others.

“Feelings, pain, and butts… Three things you dare not show in public.”

    So random.

  23. Yuval says:

    The… the Venn diagrams… they’re worthless…
Does anybody ever use Venn diagrams correctly these days?

    • Sarah says:

Thank you! I thought I was the only one that noticed that! They are used incorrectly and therefore have ruined the whole meaning of the video.

    Potato was spelled wrong.

  26. Toby says:

    That was.. special!

  27. Martin says:

Enough about the message already; it’ll be different for anyone who approaches it, and it’ll be liked or disliked according to knowledge of aesthetic history, cultural background, etc., etc. I find this vid remarkable. I’d like to know more about the medium. How’d they do it?

    • Jujube says:

I agree! I’m surprised at the variety of responses it got from those who find it funny to those who find it depressing. I guess a lot depends on your frame of mind. I found it hilarious but in a quiet, making-me-smile way. So glad I saw this. Guess I like off-the-wall, dark humour.

  28. Mayokitty says:

Most of it is true. I used to be a loner 15 year old with no social skills, and was constantly made fun of and tormented by my peers and society.

    Then I discovered beer.

Now I’m a 15 year old who couldn’t care less!

  29. James says:

That’s really clever. Not exactly funny, but amusing and kind of true.

  30. Yarrick says:

I tend to steer clear of this graph website as i find is unfunny most of the time but i thought what the hell, i’m bored. So glad i came across this now.

Even if it has made me slightly depressed it kept me captivated

  31. Caghs says:

LOL you’ve just described my thought process on an average day. So what was the movie about again? Oh look, something shiny …

  32. moi says:

    Most excellent!!
