second!!!
HAHAH I DRIVE A CHARGER!!!!!!!! I AGREE WITH THE CHART
Well, I have one and I drive a Camry.
Congratulations, you’re not on the chart. I drive a motorcycle and I don’t have any bumper stickers. Since you’re an Obama supporter I’ll clue you in: Motorcycles don’t have bumpers.
A helmet is sorta like a bumper for your head….
i’d prefer a monster truck you can pour into your face.
No, just blood stains and brain matter.
*zing
Actually, motorcycles are pretty safe if you actually know how to drive and don’t act stupid on ‘em. I’m going to get one myself for two reasons. It will feel much better, like it’s an extension of myself (and therefore easier to drive) and it has better gas mileage.
unfortunately, all too many people do not know how to drive them and DO
act stupid…
Um…lol?
Hummers weren’t surveyed?
They probably have McCain bumper stickers.
OMG Obama in 2008!!! Also, please lower your emissions and drive a smug-mobile…it’s smugably delicious!
Smugmobile>assholemobile
reference to south park FTW
I drive a Prius and vote Libertarian.
Mwaaa haa haa.
I have an F150 and an Obama sticker.
me, too.
I love, commas where they probably, shouldn’t be.
Actually, saying, “me, too,” is correct comma usage.
no, it isn’t.
using them for your name is certainly not proper comma usage.
Jeep & Ninja…..
Ron Paul
Suzuki Intruder… And I’m with you on that!
Funny. Just yesterday I saw a Prius with a “NObama” bumper sticker.
Hillary freak. So Democratic they’re voting Republican.
AKA dykes.
Have you ever wondered how much trouble Dick van Dyke gets over his name?
Isn’t ‘van’ like ‘of’?
Dick of Dyke.
I don’t know, if it were me, I’d get it changed.
*headdesk*
Like, I’d get my /name/ changed. Obviously, it already ha–
you know what, nevermind.
He did. It used to be “Penis van Lesbian”
I have to agree with this graph. There’s a Prius at the house next door to mine with an Obama sticker on it.
Well, there you go! It must be true then!
Because on vajayjays will be voting for Obama, and only vajayjays drive Prius’
Yo, I drive a bucket!
there is a walrus who would like to talk to you, when you have a moment…
haha…
So only trendy douchebags will be voting for Obama?
no, just people who enjoy saving money on gas. or would you not enjoy 46 mpg?
The cost is too steep. I’ll take 23mpg and drive half as often in a vehicle I don’t have to be ashamed of.
who’s ashamed? I love that car!!
If you ever do get ashamed, um, I’ve got an F-150 extended that I’d love to trade!
(And my son took the Obama sticker before I could put it on it, so it’s minty clean.)
wow…thats hard to believe…the rear window of that car is so small u can hardly see out of it…the design is terrible, that car is a friggin lunchbox! there’s a lot to be ashamed of with that car!
you obviously haven’t driven one. they’re delightful!
no i have driven them, and if you think they are delightful, give me a call when you get on the road, because you obviously are a tunnel vision driver who doesnt pay attention to anything on the road but what is directly infront of you. The kind of driver who should never have a license
no need to be rude. I have a perfect driving record, not even a parking ticket, thankyouverymuch. I’ve been driving it since October and there are no problems. If you can’t see in the car, maybe the problem lies with you.
Why do people get so emotional about this? It’s A CAR, if you don’t like it, then don’t get one. I hope you really love whatever car you DO have, though.
I happen to love my Prius, and I don’t “feel ashamed” of it, nor should I. I know that might be “hard to believe”, but I like the design, and I have no trouble seeing out of it. But I can respect that some other people might just NOT LIKE IT.
THANK YOU. I don’t like the car myself, but then again, I don’t really like any cars. I like motorcycles. I don’t like the death machines that I simply tell where to go. I like the thing that’s an extension of myself. (Also, not a big showy one, most of them are junk.)
46mpg? really? Im a member of a car sharing co-op. the prius has one of those nifty displays that let you know how much gas you are consuming. it averages around 36 mpg not 46. granted its still better than most. However when you include the massive emmisions from the battery it makes less sense than recycling paper(which, if you do your research, you will find actually hurts the environment, costs more money etc). Now my gas powered scooter averages 75 mpg. My bike goes as far as I can pedal. Smart environmentalist do NOT drive a prius. smart economist do not drive a prius. People who want to save money on gas, do not drive a prius. if they have done an ounce of research, They drive a scooter, ride the bus or bike.
/the prius has one of those nifty displays that let you know how much gas you are consuming. it averages around 36 mpg not 46/
It depends on how you drive, some people are able to get 50+. Personally, I average about 43-44 in mine; everyone is different.
Also, I know it sounds like a good idea, but driving a scooter, or riding a bike or bus isn’t always practical for everyone. :/ Bikes can’t go on the freeway, scooters can’t seat 3+ people, and buses don’t go exactly where you want them to. What works best for you just depends on your situation.
That would be a great bumper sticker: “Trendy Douchebags For Obama!”
This chart is bunk – My wife and I drive a Dodge Magnum with a V-8 HEMI and we’re voting for Obama.
Do you also have the “Hypocrite” bumper sticker?
maybe they support obama because of the war, or the economy, or taxes, or whatver. did you ever consider that there might be more than one issue to support a candidate for?
My truck has a “Rednecks for Obama” sticker
Shh, you’re not supposed to exist!
Isn’t it funny how people outside of the northeast and the west coast are supposed to be narrow-minded and bigotted; and yet the same people who are supposed to be open-minded and liberal are narrow-minded and bigotted towards those who are supposed to be those who are narrow-minded and biggoted but most of the time are not? Huh?
Yes!
Er, wait – No!
Can you rephase this? I think you’ve got a point, and I think you’re clever, but your too-clever post about your point lost me.
What I meant was that there’s this bigotry towards people in the south. They’re seen as rednecks and bigots. And this is by those who claim to be liberal minded and not bigotted.
So it’s ironic that those who claim to be not bigotted (in terms of race), are, in fact bigotted (towards southerners) because they see them all as rednecks and bigots when, in fact, most of them are not.
This comment needs a graph of its own.
haha — yeah, that would be funny. It would be: “probability of being a bigot”, and it would have two vertical bars. The first bar would be: “Not bigoted towards race, but think southerners are bigoted”; and the second would be “Live in the south.”
The first bar would be at 100%, and the second bar would be at about 10%.
Shouldn’t you be clinging to your religions and guns?
It would be funnier if it had more vehicle types in it with other interesting statistics..
Volvos shoulda been in there at 100% . . .
But my Gran Marquis has a “Who Is John Galt?” sticker . . .
My dad drives a Volvo, and he’s def. NOT voting for Obama. Believe me.
This is all getting a bit tired.
I guess this is supposed to be funny. Pretty pedestrian. Um, lemme see: ecology-conscious people support Obama, but hicks and rednecks don’t? Is that the message here? Uh, yeah. Not very clever, a bit bigotted, and, um, not very funny. (Did I mention that this wasn’t even funny?)
Further, why does driving a large truck automatically devolve someone into a hick or a redneck? I live in South Carolina, drive an F150 (with an Obama sticker), and I’m fairly certain that absolutely no one I know would describe me as either a hick or a redneck.
You people are reading WAY too much into this.
I actually went to the supermarket, and sitting in the parking lot was an enormous Toyota Tundra, running, with an old woman sitting in it (the A/C was on). It had an Obama sticker.
The old lady probably looked like a puppy, since you can get in trouble for leaving them in your car, but not old ladies, without the A/C on.
I find this HIGHLY insulting. I own a Prius and will NEVER support Obama (or McCain for that matter). And I’d never put a bumper sticker on my car.
a hillary dyk then…
i didn’t realize this was a serious political website. i thought it was for humor. i guess i misunderestimated it. cnn, now that’s funny!
Well, I’ve got an Ford F-150 and a Dodge Charger and I definitely don’t have any Obama stickers, so this is pretty accurate
Im sp suprised no one has quoted Jeff Dunham yet:
Walter: “When your driving down the road you see the Prius, and it goes ‘IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM GAY!”
I was just thinking that, except I was thinking more along the lines of Achmed; “That’s not a car, it’s a lunchbox!”
Ohnoes! I live in the city and don’t drive a car! How can I express my opinions & core values to strangers now?!
i think everyone here has missed the bigger issue.
this graph is inacurate because only a small number of democrats make enough money to buy a prius.
republicans, now thats where the money is.
(just so i fit in with every other post… i drive an element, and i have no idea who i’m going to vote for.)
Boy are you way off. From the New York Times September 5th:
In 2000, Al Gore beat George Bush, 56-39, among the 4 percent of voters who identified themselves as “upper class.” America’s wealthiest ZIP codes are a roll call of Democratic strongholds: Sagaponack, N.Y.; Aspen, Colo.; Marin County, Calif.; the near North Side of Chicago; Beacon Hill in Boston.

True story: BF and I were trying to find a farmer’s market we’d never been to. We got really lost and eventually just decided to follow this Prius because, well, we had no idea where else to go. The Prius led us right to it.
It’s funny I saw this graph today, I have A Mitsubishi Lancer, with an Obama bumper sticker on it, and someone KEYED MY CAR! cut the bumper sticker in half and just went to town on my trunk! makes me sad!
If you don’t agree with me then get your own cute lil car to ruin!!! :’(
That sucks. I’m so sorry to hear that! Some people are just morons.
Capitalists usually dont hug trees either. I lold with this graph, very good.
They might at well pass them out with the Hybrid cars.
Thank you everyone commenting on this. For proving you do not deserve a country.
Ignorance is bliss! Keep on taking it!
Hopefully you will self implode like the Roman Empire, or even the Soviet Union!
LOLWUT?
well, i have a 99 volkswagen jetta, and i’m voting for ronald reagan. bitches.
OMG so I’m not crazy. Every Prius in my neighbourhood has an Obama sticker.
